Z produces peak power from 50-82 degrees. Air must be fairly dry.50/60% humidity max. You're just learning that now???

Maybe the vq engine is breaking in but this is the first time the engine has opened up like this, I even got 16mpg instead of 13. The car was shifting like butter.

Wow car is driving amazing right now all of a sudden. The weather is about 71 slightly humid, this feels like a different engine and car and is driving so good.. This really is a love hate relationship or maybe it's just the z I have that drives differently all the time.

yep when its cooler my 370 runs better ..... meanwhile my G35 runs strong no matter what temp it is and no huge power loss when its 80-100 high temps are like kryptonite to the 370 turns superman into a weak little girly man

hummm... both cars slows about the same percentage to me in hotter weather. the G has higher gearing vs the 370Z so perhaps that is why the difference feels less to you? (G doesn't feel as aggressive to begin with).

I actually agreed with something JungleZ said yesterday. I decided it was time to put the forum down for the day after that.

i really dont notice much power difference in my G when hot as compared to the z which i do. the hotter the z gets the worse the throttle response is . and by the way my G is not stock so compared to a stock one its like night and day difference (intake, plenum spacer, hfc, full cat back and tune.) but i have to say its way better since i have an oil cooler on the z now and able to turn the fan on whenever i want it to .
