Ask yourself this,

Why did someone with a "R34 GTR" and wanna trade for a car that is easy accessed here in the states? Both are sports cars and one is surely a much better performer than the other. I could understand if it was a 2013 STR8 Jeep or something like that for the need of more room and still wanting something fast, but thid trade doesn't add up from his side. You have way more to gain than he does. I would kinda question his true reason for that, hell there is even less room in the Z and not as fast to boot.

Since you can get R34 GTT in Canada now (and GT-R next year), can you import the car from Canada instead?

It's a driver's race. Google puts the R34 stock around 240ish whp (converted from kw) running a 12.3. It weighs a little under 3400 lbs like the Z. The only difference is really the exclusivity and awd. Modded, it's a whole different story.

Some have done this, but you have to be very careful.
If you drive it to much they will know something is up and impound it, with a possible fine.
