Horrible smell after turning A/C off

I'm pretty sure it's mold/mildew forming on the evaporator since the car was parked in a garage for a few months in Raincouver. Can I spray some mold remover on

Can I spray some mold remover on the evaporator coils? If so, where can I locate the evaporator? Thanks.
