WORD! Great attitude. May I add my regrets with your experience. Its life, its a car and we will carry on :) Sounds like you have a great plan to make things better. All the best!

if i saw my car in this condition i would just lay on top of it and cry and say its going to be okay

My sister's Nissan Versa ( yeah, I know ) got hit with some serious hail in North Carolina. They skinned it and replaced every panel including the roof. Kind of surprising given the value of the car. I'm thinking they may do the same for yours.

...Amuse kit + new vented fenders? ;)

Haha nah, I prefer the stock look with a CF lip kit. Part of the refresh after the car is off daily driver status is to replace the lip kit, renew the front bumper, and add a CF rear diffuser. We have some pretty bad roads and parking lots here, and the Z has endured lots of nasty bumps. The recent one nearly tore the bumper off. This outlook is very far away since there are other priorities at the moment.

Wow. That's terrible.

SouthArk370Z 05-21-2013 03:03 PM

:( Good luck with the repairs and insurance.

My 350 took a beating 2 years ago. Glass somehow survived but the hood, roof, hatch, and pillars were trashed. Insurance should cover it but the hood will probably be replaced out right. A good shop should be able to make it so you never even knew. My 350 looked a lot better then when it was new! Good luck with the repairs, hail sucks which is why I have a second vehicle. Any time there is a threat, the Z stays inside.

Unreal! Sorry to see this. Hopefully insurance gets you looked after without much hassle.

roclive75 05-21-2013 07:28 PM

Omg!!!so sorry!!!...I feel for you...keep it positive it will be fixed.

Magic Bus 05-21-2013 09:11 PM

Wow, sorry to see that. Hope your claims go through quickly and get that baby looking better than before.

Nut_N_Much 05-21-2013 09:19 PM

I am sorry buddy. I am hoping the best for you. That scare the shitz out of me. I video taped a storm here in Tampa yesterday and we had Ice fall here too while it was 80 outside. Nothing like what you had to go through..

I pray for a seedy recovery for you.. :tiphat:

madwi 05-21-2013 09:46 PM

Wow that really sucks man. Sorry to see that. some of that damage is really quite impressive for hail.

mayday813 05-21-2013 10:35 PM

You may be surprised at the cost to repair this damage. Apparently the passenger door and rear hatch were not damaged. Usually a car gets totaled from hail when almost all the body panels sustain some serious damage.

Good luck with upcoming repairs. Most reputable shops are used to that kind of work so you should be ok. Hope they go for replacement rather than PDR.
