We have Fast & the Furious and a 22 post member saying normal posters are overreacting? Not sure where you both came from or what you drove before, but on this forum, we support the vendors AND the community. If something doesn't seem right, ask about other member's experiences. I don't see how this is overreacting.

you guys are acting so ridiculous. Simply say "hey you quoted me 4400 on this set, but on eBay its 37xx + shipping... can you just match that price since it's the same set?" they've been around for years and are very reputable. lol

They do seem reputable and professional to me based on their forum posts and how they advertise their products.

I think revspec is the only vendor that actually announce the price of the wheels openly. And the quotes i got for them are very consistent.

Having that said, i do understand how the OP says when he got different pricing for the quotes he submitted.

But like i said, i felt confident enough to ordr from them.

I've asked another vendor before to price match their personal website and was met with some major BS. They refused to honor their own price listed and tried to upsell me on a more expensive part. So, I'm tired of having to call vendors out. If it was an honest mistake, I'm sure RavSpec would agree to the lesser price they have running, I just never had the deposit to make it happen for the Wedssports I wanted.

lol didn't know the weight of what i say comes down to what i drive. I drive a lime green eclipse. I raced last weekend and nearly blew the welds off my intake.

Supporting the forum vendors is fantastic.. I'm with that 100%. The whole "OMGAH i got quoted two different prices, thats shady." stuff is lame. put on your big boy pants and ask them to match the price they advertise. lol  if they won't then move on :)

It does when it comes to which vendors you use, parts you buy, and how much those parts cost. This isn't a dime a dozen car so there aren't a lot of companies who sells 370 stuff compared to, say a Civic, Mustang, Camaro, etc. With this in particular, Wheels tend to cost an order of magnitude more than some cheaper vehicles because we use 18"-20" and generally 9"-12" wide. So now that I've covered this, you are over dramatizing the comments on this thread, it doesn't help anyone, and only makes you look like an @ss hat. You only point out the obvious, price matching was already discussed, price advertisements were discussed, and it doesn't take an expert to say "try another vendor" So, you really didn't help at all. Maybe if you had experience working with Ravspec, you could have helped, but you don't, and you aren't helping.

As for my experience; I haven't purchased anything from them, but inquiries can sometimes take a while, other times, immediate. I haven't had any issues with the quoted prices being out of line from market value of the items. If Ravspec was shady, I would think a thread would have been made a while ago as they've been a vendor here a while.

Yea its no big deal. I saw my 370z on Ebay and it was 4K cheaper then the online price. Just buy the cheaper price and move on. When i sold my 350z I had it on cars.com autotrader, and Ebay at 3 different price points.

I just got my wheels from Mark today, stand up guys IMO. I actually got 5 wheels from him. 4 were used, but one had a small scratch (that MArk disclosed before the sale) and he said he was sending a brand new one to replace it as soon as it came in. PLUS, he included a brand new set of lugnuts I wasnt expecting. So in my opinion, great guys, and if I need wheels again I'll be going to them.

Why would you get another quote knowing how much they were selling the same item at another site? Better strategy is to ask what they can do to beat the lower price by 20% and haggle. Once you get a good price, negotiate for some add-ons like upgraded lugs and/or lugs. I would also pit their pricing against their known competitor. Get names and drop it onto who you are dealing with. "Sammy says, he'll beat your price anytime" They really take it personal. Works for me. For example, I have a quote for a brand new KWV3 for 1800 cash out the door. I started at 2350. I am still working on getting a lower bid. My next step is to get a $50 credit on a future purchase.

CAN I JUST CLARIFY - The price I saw on Ebay was RavSpec's ebay price. It's not like I'm trying to get 2 different vendors competing. It's the same vendor giving different prices which is what isnt sitting right with me. if they were over priced compared to someone else i would simply tell them beat the price or I'll buy it elsewhere.

I also got a response from them on the "slightly used wheels" even though the response above says "brand new". Apparently they have only been used for test fitting on cars but not driven on. :icon14:

I dont see how asking about other members experiences on a forum like this is overreacting since thats what the forum is for. Provide information to a community based on other member's feedback and experiences. Has no one here ever asked how someones exhaust sounds and performs? You prick! Go buy it yourself and see how it is! stop overreacting! :gtfo2:

Well, could it be that the ones quoted are 20's and the ones listed on ebay are 19's?

That does make about a $400 dollar difference, sometimes more depending on the wheel.
