Cover on rear hatch help

Need to remove the cover on the inside of the rear hatch to get to the 3rd light. Any trick to this? Or is it just snapped on? Thanks in

Default Cover on rear hatch help

Need to remove the cover on the inside of the rear hatch to get to the 3rd light. Any trick to this? Or is it just snapped on?

Take your finger and get it under the plastic piece and just start yanking slowly. Each portion of the hatch will come off with a slight snap from the connectors. The plastic piece also connects into the side panel but it can be slipped it easily. (Youll know what I am talking about once you take it off)

The whole plastic part comes off really easy. A simple method is put your fist in there and then turn your fist so it pushes on the plastic and comes off with ease.

Yep, flashes rapidly 6 times and then goes solid. The Nismo doesn't have the lower fog, so this was my only choice.

For whatever reason, my 2011 did not have the weight/dampener at all. I have never had to apply much force to close it. Gravity takes care of everything from about 4-5 inches height

i might do this to offset the dyamat weight i added on... like 10lbs or watever
