So now we have, who regrets colors, buying Z's, price of Z's, buying nismo vs base +sp... Whats next, a thread about regretting buying a 2013 instead of 12 or less, new or used? People who live with regrets live in the past. Shouldn't have agreed to the contract.

(Kidding brother) In all honesty, if you have regrets on what you paid for your car, you just suck at negotiating... That is all... Lol!!! |
Here's the thing about regret, if you regret it, you probably didn't really want it in the first place. I am not rich by any means but money is just money. All cars go down in value, it's kind of the name of the game. I'm perfectly happy with my Z and if someone gets a better deal or a better price, I'm not butt hurt because I smile every time I push the start button
|
no, because i buy used. i make my money work smarter, not harder ;)
|
Well i for one dont regret it, just thought it would be interesting to start a thread on it :tiphat:
|
I bought mine used as well so no regrets here
|
I bought mine used, there were other people trying to buy it at the same time and I got it, so I'm sure I probably paid at least 2K too much but it was everything I wanted and in perfect condition.
Do I regret it? In the sense that I paid that much money for a car yes, but in the sense I'm incredibly happy with it, no. |
same here. Got a good deal on mine used.

ROFL. My Wife asked if I regretted my color, I only mutter under my breath when I'm waxing. Have to go over 3x with a water bottle and fresh towels to get the oil swirls off!

I got a lousy base model for 31k on a lease, not bad i guess considering the Honda s2000 was close to 30k when it first came out and the z is way more car.
|
Please stop these regret threads...

And back to the question... no I don't, but the person who sold the z to me should regret. |

Same, the poor SOB who paid $42k for my car should feel bad... |

Dude I paid like around that much after taxes wtf And that was INVOICE |

No regrets. I still look on autotrader from time to time and the Zs I in my area equipped like mine are running about $2k more than the list of my car, and they have more miles too.
|
I regret that night where the stranger told me he had candy.........
|
Can't we just enjoy our cars!

Small regret on not knowing about the prices could get on the forums. There are some really good deals that pop up there from time to time. However, I got mine with just 7000 miles so I guess it's a fair tradeoff.
|
Well, I paid $34k for my Z. I just searched within a 500 miles radius of my Zip code for a used Z with comparable miles. Same color transmission, etc. they are selling my car @ $33,054. Z's run high in Tx. More demand than availability here. That means a dealer would give me $30,000 for mine (give or take $1,000 and what the car i was trading for would be.)
$4,000 in depreciation in 18 months. And that value should hold from here till fall? I'm not complaining. Europe is Europe. We won't have to worry till next gen. By then mine will be paid for.:happydance: |

[QUOTE=DEpointfive0;2229866]I'm stopping my care packages' shipping, LOL!!!
(Kidding brother) "CARE Packages!" Wow. That goes back to this Boomer's Post WW II days as a little kid when devasted Germany's people were going hungry. Now they're prospering, selling us BMW's and the U.S. is broke! (Sorry to get off subject.) |
Bought my 2009 with automatic, brand new for $29,000 cash (no trade) at the end of the model year in November 2009. Never a regret with that deal.
