Jesus, that's a pretty huge drop. I'm wondering what the tradeoff is or where the money is made up.
|
Anybody here remember when Mitsubishi/Dodge did this in the 90's to "spur sales growth" of the 3000GT twins? That didn't work out well at all. Sales did not improve and resale values tanked. Let's hope Nissan is smart enough to gradually reduce the price, if they even reduce it in the US.

If you plan on trading in 2014/2015 for another Z? Pay off your Z's ASAP. The next gen price will most likely drop back to $30,000 again. That will leave your current Z's being worth in the $20,000 range.

Wow even a bigger ownage factor for me already getting owned leasing

In a related story, all new Zs will have the 2009 steering lock added as a free option.

to be fair for prior customers, Nissan should drop the price for GT-R, so we can step up.
I dont wanna be overcrowded like BRZ drivers.. |
At the current exchange rate that's still $43K plus dollars. Not to worry about residuals here yet.
|
sooooooooo does this mean i should wait a bit before a buy my Z?
and is this a touring model 2012 Nissan 370Z Touring, $30,000 - Cars.com |
and sigh another side note thought on the z....a price drop ey?...
so now i need someone to tell me to wait incase this price drop happens in the US. dont wanna spend so much money on a car to have it drop 5k when i want to sell it....if i ever do... |
At this point... I would just wait. the last two years of a model is never good to buy unless you are getting large cash incentives or the car is being considered an instant classic.
|
The last few years are the model are generally the best because they are considered the most reliable.
|
has anyone heard of an update on the z price drop for the us yet?
