What tires do you run?
I just recently bought myself a 2009 370z, i need new tires what do you recommend? I am looking for an all season tire that will last for awhile looking to spend about 900-1300 dollars. i do drive this car everyday so i would like to have some tires that would last.

I believe you can find a lot more info on this at the Wheels & Tires section.

Unless you hold a grudge against Michelin, then I'm not sure what to get after the OEM Bridgestone's wear out. :icon17:
I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. |
continental DWS would be my choice if all seasons. :)

Currently Hankook V12, but will be making a switch to Michellin PSS very soon. The Hankooks last me about 18K miles.

For price and wet weather performance, I love my Nitto Invos. I stepped up a size in width (for the sport wheels) at both the front and rear to 255 and 285, respectively. Plus I got 20K miles on my last set of Invo rears vs <10K on the rears with stock RE050s.

Are Michelin PSS worth the extra $$$ over Hankook V12s?

Hankook are entry level, at best. They are excellent on Hyundai, Kia or Prius though. |

PSS are amazing but problem.... OP said he wanted all season tires which they are not. A/S + or Continental DWS are best bet.

Michelins are always top notch. Although they are on the expensive side, they worth every penny IMHO. OP, also check the tirerack.com. They have ratings on tread wear, tractions under wet, dry, snow conditions and so on(it's under the survey's tab). |

O ok this is good info, I was wanting the DWS but they are on backorder and i need tires like now not in a month lol. I saw the yokohoma yk580 are pretty good what do you think?
|
subd I need some new rubber aswell....
|
I love the PSS. Got them just in time for nice a long drive over the weekend through freeways and canyon roads and all I can say is wow, great tires. You can get 255/35 and a 305/30 for 1300 (or lower) installed if you shop around.

I would recommend Bridgestone RE-11s. Mounted on my 350Z, they're the best tires I've ever had.

I'm looking at the treadwear rating on the RE11 vs PSS and the PSS seems to have double the treadlife of REs? Is this correct in practice? They seem to be similar price and performance but if the REs wear twice as quickly it seems the PSS would be the better buy.
Someone dispell my ignorance please. =\ |
My Z is not my daily driver. Go ahead and ask me about what my daily driver is! You'll laugh! Anyway, I have Yokohama Advan Sport tires and they are very high quality and super sticky. Not so good in the Seattle rain, though, so I take it easy on the freeway.

I also noticed a drop in mpg compared to stocks |
^i'm on my third and haven't noticed a drop in mpg or premature wear. i do only get about 20k out of the rears, 30-39k on fronts
they also come with a mileage warranty so they pro-rate the tires that don't make it to 45k |

 thought the op was looking for allseason tires?

If his title was more descriptive (ex: what's a good all-season tire?) then he'd get the answers he's looking for. That being said, I'm on stock tires still :p |

And I like my Yokohama Advan Sport too. The only complain is the road noise. |
