does anyone know how it feels!!
I played 3 hour of basketball and was driving back to my house and "pop" my left thigh had bad cramp!! if it was auto I can manage it, but my car is manual!! I can't press the DAM CLUTCH!! so I put my car in street and waited like 1 hour(massaging my thigh) I still couldn't DRIVE!! I barely made it to my house.
does anyone experience similar incident? how did you manage? I told my friend and they were laughing like crazy!! BUT IT IS NOT FUNNY LOL. please don't get serious its a fun/killing time thread enjoy rest of days |
Yes, and I would rev-match the shifts (FWD 4cyl cars). Only needed the clutch to start the car and from stop to first. I feel for ya.
|
I cramped my calf stepping on the clutch after a long run one time. I was out of commission for a couple days after that.

If you have been driving your car long enough you will get a feel of where to gently push the stick into the gear you want. Keep the RPM's down and smooth. Use e-brake and right foot or get take a bus! :roflpuke2: |

lol come do a LEG day with me at the gym and you might throw up on the dash on your ride home.
|
ye I felt like a loser..it hurts so bad though. for second I thought of trading my car for auto so I wont be in that situation again
|
Yep, know how you feel. In my younger days used to play a lot of Bball and only drove sticks. What a b___h when you twist or sprain an ankle, had to borrow parents car on several occasions......how pathetic :shakes head:
|
meh, I played a few hours of basketball, football and some good old fashion NYC handball all day yesterday and drove home fine.
I think you're just out of shape :p but it's OK, we forgive you :icon17: |
importance of stretch and warmup before doing anything activities.

Ouch, ya never cool.
Once after a two hour sparring session (Muay Thai) I was driving home and I must have taken too many inside leg kicks....thigh started to spasm and I had to stretch out my left leg I just tried to coast in 3rd for awhile...thankfully the Z has good leg room! |
Squats, burpees, squat jumps, and tires. Legs every other day keeps the spasms away.
|
Sciatic nerve... Several weeks to heal. Thought I'd be stuck with it forever.

Did this playing Basketball 3 days ago.
Deployed, so I dont have to drive my 6mt :ugh2: |
Eww! I keep messing up my thumb playing volleyball. With blocks, ball can roll off my finger which hurts like heck.
|
Played in a soccer tournament one time and my calf cramped up. Pulled over and massaged it managed to make it home.
Another time I rolled my ankle and I had to let a buddy drive my car :ugh2: happiest day of his life lol |
funny thing is im 6'4 and a half and ive never had an issue getting in or sitting in the Z, its actually more comfortable then my beater. :icon17:
I did have a guy when I was buying the car try to find fault with the Z seating, but then saw me sit in it, and was like "Oh my fault nvm" :rofl2: |
