I'd have chosen Yellow in a heartbeat over any other color on my Roadster if it was offered; which it isn't, unfortunately.

You are misunderstanding what im saying. This is not directed at you or any particular type of person. I was simply giving my option that I think the black cherry will sell better, thats it!

Mazda sold a black cherry version of the RX8, the Shinka, it looked really good in person

Black Cherry would sell better, but Chicane Yellow looks better.

Thats tha first thing im doing to my Z when i get near x-mas time. Back to tha poll I think yellow shows off tha fine lines of tha Z

I agree, if by Bronze color you mean the Lemans Sunset. It's like a burnt orange color.

I liked the 350z's with that color and think it would look AWESOME on a 370z

Me personally I ordered a 7 a/t base+sport in black cherry!
I hope yellow winds up being the more popular color? Lol
Exclusivity is always nice... lol
But I'm also thinkin of changing to a free color n goin aftermarket on paint.
I like that orange I been seeing in import tuner mag.
My imagination has me goin thinkin goin polar white. Very dark- blood red pearl (kinda sorta like black cherry but slightly more pronounced red) or electric-midnight blue.

the name Black Cherry just reminds me of woodgrain...maybe if they call it ABSOLUTE VIOLET or something like that, it would sound much better...In sports cars, I think the yellow is the loudest and it goes with the territory...Yellow is flashy, it stands out, it's what you want when you purchase a sports car....however, I think that a lot of people won't get yellow for that reason...yellow and black cherry are pretty much opposite end colors...you get yellow because it's flashy and sporty, you get black cherry cuz it doesn't scream aggressiveness...some people want a sports car to be flashy, and hot, hence the yellow will do that...whereas, some want a classier color, something that doesn't draw much attention, that's where the black cherry comes into play...

white, silver, gray, black...those are all the neutral colors...

yellow, blue, red...those are the sporty colors...you will never see a Lamborghini or a Ferrari in a Black Cherry, unless if it's a custom color (like the Veyron*)...

if I have a choice, yellow all the way

*then again, Veyron also has this custom color:

The Black cherry looks boring. My choice and car:

I would really like to see some better pictures of Black Cherry before answering this poll. The 350Z included some darker burgandyish colors like Brickyard and Interlagos Fire. I always liked Brickyard because it was a burgandy color. A friend of mine had one and it looked great in person. It was only available for one year though (2003). Interlagos Fire was more of a brown hue to me. Something with a purple hue might be interesting.

Does anyone know if Black Cherry is roadster-only??

I pre-ordered a base black cherry coupe spt pkg 7a/t. When I asked. The dealer said it should be available for all cars. The red interior is limited to the roadster n the 40th anniv. Model. 40th anniv models are limited to 40th ann graphite.

My issue with the yellow is that it has a canaryish hue. I would prefer a deep yellow to gold.
It looks like that in pics but in person its a light sorta yellow.
That's my same issue with monterrey blue. Its hot in pics. Almost like royal blue. Then in person its like lightish baby kinda blue. In these cases the live color doesn't look as good.
The black cherry looks darker in pictures n its not ugly but doesn't look extravaggant. So this is where I took a gamble.... I figered if black cherry looks lighter in person than in pics like the trend has been? The black cherry will look hot!
7 for 7 imo what hasn't looked as good in pics turned out to exxceed my expectations in person. (Black, red, graphite, white)
N the hottest Z's in pics disappointed in person. (Yellow, blue, silver)
All the z colors that I wound up being disappointed in were my 1st choices by lookin online. The other colors I fell in love with at the dealership.
