This is a big enough deal to me that I might wait until the 2010's come out, and I was literally ready to go and buy an '09 within a few days. Anyone know/care to speculate how easy it would be to retrofit an '09 with the USB?

Well by the sounds of it they are changing more than one thing with the Nav unit so I almost wonder if it will be pretty different. Same software but much different hardware, which would mean adding it might be possible but the software may not be able to use it though.

Finally the heated mirrors.

Hmm...Yeah, I didn't think of that. I wonder how hard it would be to obtain a '10 Navi system and install it in an '09?

Heated mirrors...once you have them up here in Canada, its hard to go back. I'm very happy I waited for the 2010.

No more Chicane Yellow. I knew it was an extra $500 option but I never thought Nissan would take them away this quick. Well, congrats to ALL 09 Chicane Yellow owners. Your car JUST got more exclusive!

I remember in 2007, Nissan offered the color Solar Orange. I really liked the color. Exclusive color - just for one model year.

They said from the get go that Yellow was only for 2009 - no surprise there. In Canada where I'll be surprised if we get 350 of the 2009 370Z the yellows are gonna be super rare! I'll bet less than 50 in the whole country.

+1... new system is getting great press for fuel efficiency etc... plus maybe it would burn more efficiently / cooler ! think i heard something like 5-10% more fuel efficient with same power

The microfilter is a nice touch, especially people with allergies like my Azz.

tvfreakazoid 07-17-2009 05:35 AM

The filter is for when you have outside air coming in your car, it will filter out pollen and what not. Am i right?
