I'd avoid FI based on the nightmares documented here on the forum. So if it were me, I would upgrade the HFC, catback and suspension. That's the best bang for the buck in my opinion.

By "FI", I meant Forced Induction. Fast Intentions is a very good exhaust.

The first thing that you should do with your tax return is adjust your withholdings so that you get more money during the year and not a return at the end of the year

You are overpaying your taxes, this is not free money that you should be spending :ugh2:

I'm finishing up my last couple mods with it. Upgrade my headlights one more time, add 15mm/20mm H&R spacers, add hood damper kit, add Z1 silicone hoses. I don't want to drop the car so no coilovers... Nothing left to do :/

I hate all of you who get money back.

Well I'm thinking FI exhaust and an oil cooler does anyone know a good one to get? And I'm thinking about getting a 3M clear bra.

Well when you get the tax check you can say its "extra" cash you can use to mod your car without feeling guilty of spending money from each paycheck:tup:

Never short change yourself because you'll never be happy with your purchase. If you can't get anything now, just save your money.

:iagree:

Seriously don't think you have to get something. Get what you want and only what you want. If you need to wait, then wait. Waiting only makes it better when you get it.

Alright, since I'm all about justifying mods if that's what you use I'm aboard with it ;)

Stillen Oil Cooler

I got a Stillen 19 Row Oil Cooler - Since I don't track the car, it's way more than I need. I actually have all but the four top rows blanked off with a plate so as to get the oil temp's up to 180 on cold days (in New Orleans, there's not many of those, but they do occur), and the oil temps stay at 200 during regular driving in the summer, and may hit 210 -215 during spirited driving. The magic happens when you do climb in oil temps, the cooling back to normal temps occurs pretty quickly.

At oil changes, I put in 5.5Qts of new oil now. This puts me right at the top line of the dipstick. I also change oil at or before 3K miles so as to keep realy dirty oil from being trapped in the oil cooler and contaminating my new oil. there's no easy way of draining the oil out of the oil cooler, so... Cheap insurance if nothing else...

My only regret is I did not get a Thermostatic Adapter Plate which would have negated the need for a blank plate stuck on the oil cooler... I would advise you to see about getting one of those.

Hope this helps.:tiphat:

Well, I'll be that guy. Save your money, even though im sure you will reply that you have money saved and this money can be blown, save it. Invest in your retirement account, 401k IRA anything. If by next tax return you still have money saved from now and what not then do it. But by then maybe you will want a new car and be glad you saved money...

I've seen several cars with clear bra and in every case, it looks pretty awful after ~2 years. It discolors to yellow and there will be a visible line across your hood. Also, it doesn't protect as wells as you'd think it does.
