btw dont know if anyone read the entry but YOU are not racing your car at the track event. they put a pro driver in your car. this is basically a promo event, still cool though

nope, doesnt and wont have F/I, understand their car has the greddy kit. My car has had careful tuning and testing on the suspension/chassis setup. Also doing a custom tuned differential. Cooling is sorted as well. Prolly will outfit with a good sticky tire unless they say other wise. Goal from the beginning of my car was balance and efficentcy. 1.33 around big willow on street tires, NA, and full weight is no slouch

I'm gonna enter mine too tomorrow, but I don't know if they are interested in a purpose built track car without an interior and not street legal or not. Hopefully the fact that its my 8th Z will also help.

pretty sure one of the members of this forum will destroy that project 370z..

yea i told Kleeman to enter as well... i'd love to see one of the gutted track beast Z's take down the project Z. that would just make my day!

I doubt they are going to pick a track only Z... it will most likely be the closest comparison DD to their car... I have doubts they will pick mine as well lol. I even mentioned turning the boost down to help level the playing field lol...

do it man, I can see them either picking something NA and track prepped or something similar to their expected power level and setup

I'm in now, but I think Mike is right, I may be too far track gone for it. If so, no big deal.

It's an even split between Nissan loyalty/story and what you have done to the car. They are looking for new innovative ideas in the car... Something unique and different which includes everything from performance to aesthetics. I think there are several members who do well in the looks department. But it's got to be a combo of looks and power. I guarantee you that they will be pushing the project z car to 500+rwhp. So you have to ask yourself what kind of events are they going to host? 1/4 mile, standing mile, circuit, braking, slalom, 0-60 and etc... How well will a NA car hold up? How about a SC'd car? We know the GTM stage 2 kit is solid against the greddy kit and should nose it out. Who all has a built block with forced induction? Will they really compare a track car against their street car? A track car is purpose built and a street car is supposed to be an all around car... These are the questions I am asking...

I think they will pick a TT car with a built block and a lot of effort put into it to be an all around performing car... From looks to power. What can be driven on a daily basis comfortably, what can be driven to the track and back home. I don't think they will go for an all out track car it just apples to oranges... What are your thoughts guys?
