I put one in the oven, the other I used the hair dryer...that way you can leave all wires connected too.

Just takes about 10 minutes longer

I used a heat gun, they are inexpensive and you can get the job done a lot faster than a hair dryer. As far as the oven, no ty. I'm not doing that. Be sure to read the last few pages of the DIY. I add some insight. Don't use a screw driver as your flat edge, you will warp the black plastic. It's not visible under the hood if you mess it up, but if you're OCD like me, it matters. You don't even have to use a flat edge at all if you peel it right. If you do use a flat edge, use a large paint scraper with a long even surface, and don't pry hard.

How I did it was start at the very rear of the lights where that long piece comes off the headlight. I used that for leverage as I pulled it away from the clear plastic. Once the seal is broken it's as simple as peeling away.
