Most cops think jammers don't work, and we want to keep it that way so they don't put effort into defeating them.

Jammers can be defeated when you use the right equipment and techniques.

Stealth is our friend.

I agree. I always disarm and slow (hence downshift comment-engine braking no brake lights.).

I like to let the tax collector get a good read on me on his second shot. That way he thinks it was a gun malfunction.

The funny thing is I don't really even drive fast. (5-10 over usually.). I just hate being harvested to support out of control local spending.

I'd rather spend 2000 buck on ECM then 500 on tickets.

I could use something very stealthy. These are not legal here, and most traps are laser (lidar) and also speed measurement via aircraft :shakes head:

My car is wired (previous owner) for a passport. Id love to get the 9500ix, if it wernt so ungodly expensive.

That's why I like the paddle shifters in the Maxima... Downshift and engine braking...

The Sport SRM works well too. Unfortunately I usually keep it off so I just pump and dump then hang on!!!

:iagree: might not be legal up here for us but I am still considering getting one, we would obviously need the best of the best since it is illegal for us which is why I am leaning towards the 9500ci to help stay stealth. Not to mention the laser shifters which is exactly what we need for our Lidar traps

9500ci is definitely the way to go.

Laser Interceptor is the "best of the best" when it comes to laser jamming, and IIRC, it even has a switch to put the system in "parking sensor only" mode.

"Jammer? No officer, those are parking sensor heads, go ahead and test them."

Agreed. I have a 9500ci but the Laser interceptor tests better than them all. I'm working on stealthing my lights and plates now.

:pics: if you can I would love to see some more setups since it would be the same unit as I want. A lot of the pics/threads on the forum are for either the 9500xi or the V1 detector.

Ill post when I get home to the z in a few days

Escort Redline or 9500. Both have beat the Valentine in numerous independent tests. I had an Escort 8500 for about 8 years and just upgraded to the Redline when I bought my 2013 Z

Ive got a v1 and it works great! I have to agree that I do feel blind driving without it

Sorry this took so long here are the 9500ci pix I promised.
Front "diffusers" (in grill next to plate)
Attachment 64176

Rear "diffuser" right above plate
Attachment 64177

Control head which I might move
Attachment 64178

Display unit I will soon be putting onto my mirror to shine from inside
Attachment 64179

Led which reflects off my speedo (really only visible at night.) blips red when I'm getting lit up by speed gun
Attachment 64180
It's a poor picture but it acts like a kind of heads up display on my speedo. I can't really get a good pic if it cause its dim and overpowered by flash.

The display ANC control unit could be way better concealed (you can put them anywhere really.)

In fact I just moved it mid post to here (better I think)
Attachment 64187
My wrist was bumping the volume while driving sometimes and it looks less out of place there.

Anyhow I hope the install pix help.
