OH MY GOD - First UK cars are in showrooms and...

I think you're falling in love But I agree - Eibachs must be a first mod.

...or you can buy one of many existing private plates from one of many dealers - things like "GB 1" would sell for THOUSANDS of pounds. Personally I think they are a rip off. Here's another link - CLICK HERE

The car in the showroom is their demonstrator - possibly they have 'pre-registered' it and I suppose they will sell it 'cheaper' in a few months time, because it already has one owner.

Edit - The last dealer I bought from managed to get me a plate with a Z in it - nice dealer
There is only 1 plate needed these days and that's " CLARETS "

But here in Texas you only get 6 letters so it'll be " BRNLEY "

Chuffed to hear you enjoyed the wake. Now for a second wind, let us now how that test drive comes along.

By the way the car has an elevated and somewhat longer than normal nose when driving, it will take some getting use to .... when your down the country roads.

Have fun.......

C'MON YOU CLARETS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nahhh - You need a plate that says SPURS!

Do you mean that the front of the car is significantly longer/different to the 350z? I'll definitely be making a ton of notes during the test drive and reporting back. My one big worry is that the car I saw had no spare weel - just a tyre repair kit. This could be a deal breaker for me, although I suppose I'll have 4 spare LMGT4'S whan I sell the 350Z.

It's weird, because the brochure suggests that it should have one.

I'll be phoning the dealer I know tomorrow morning, to check.

As for you, edeeZee, from which angles do you think the Z looks a little awkward? I couldn't find any.

I'll do more of a write-up on Tuesday, after my first test drive.

Edit - just to prove I'm not lying...

The ridiculous thing is that they are trying to charge over £33,000 (more than $54,000) for this auto with satnav!!!! Ridiculous!
that car really looks like titanium grey... brownish green tint to it ? so consufed...

you guys also get the high pressure headlight washers...not an option here as well. Is rear view cam an option in the UK?

and I like that color as well, much darker than the Platinum Graphite we get here in the states

Now read this...

My Local Dealer made a Small Mistake - again lol...

It was defo Twilight Grey, Richie - but I agree, the lighting gives it a brownish twinge and the silver car behind it makes it look browner too. In real life it was greyer.

Yes, unfortunately we get the headlight washers, grrrr

I personally think those headlight washers are sick... no standard american car gets those!
You Europeans and your weird little accessories, hahah

Imagine this - you've just spent hours and hours on Sunday washing and waxing your beautiful black car. You took so long that it's starting to get dark. You decide to jump in the lovely shiny thing and go for a little spin. You turn on the headlights, pull out of the drive and you notice a little speck or smear on the windscreen, so you squirt the windscreen washer and........

....damn, those bl**dy headlamp washers spray crappy screenwash fluid all over your lovely ex-shiny bonnet.

Do you...

a. Say, "Thank the Lord for those very useful European gadgets that no American car is fortunate enough to have." or...

b. Say, "Damn the European legislation that forces our headlights to have those useless stupid things."

? Answers on a postcard, to Fredrik Reinfeldt, President of the European Union, Europe, The World.
