370Z to EVO X

going this saturday to try in trade the z for an evo.

have a question about trade ins. my dad cosigned me the car. but the car title is under my name. do i need him to be there for the trade in to work. how about if we was joint would i still need him?

Sorry to see you go, not too sure on a trade in, if it's in Your name, and he was only a co-financier, I don't believe he will need to be there.

Why the trade if you mind saying?

If you mean this thread: http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-g...ding-370z.html

The title clearly shows the differences... :ugh2:

having trouble in the snow/ice. roads been covered with ice for the past 2-3 weeks. having trouble driving in this type of condition. NO TRACTION what so ever.

i failed for getting a Z as my dd in ohio.

Are you driving on the Stock tires, which are Summer tires?

That will be why. If you get a set of winter wheels/tires, you'll see a drastic improvement in winter traction... Cheaper than going through selling/trading your car.

On most trade-in's your going to lose money. Think about snow tires? The EVO is a downgrade I would say.

Different title same post :shakes head:

AWD
Factory Turbo
Seats 4 and has a trunk

It does have some perks over the Z, so "downgrade" I think would be a bit harsh? I mean looks are subjective so to each unto their own...? :ugh:

And your first post in that thread wasn't exactly positive either... :ugh2:

HappyZmoke 01-03-2013 11:06 AM

yea its stock tires.

was thinking about getting winter tires(blizzaks?). didnt want to waste money on it if it didnt work. just not confident driving rwd in snow/ice

TheGreatOne 01-03-2013 11:09 AM

I don't think he would have to be there. If he only co-signed on the loan, I think you are ok. If his credit wasa big determining factor though, they might want him there for this

Shame to see you go, I'll chime in and say try some winter tires but I don't drive my Z in the winter.

I wouldn't call going to the EVO X a downgrade, except for the interior which is cheap...it definitely has its upsides but I'd sooner be driving a Z

Take a read through here before you decide, might be worth trying...
