Anyways I was wondering if i'm the only one that stalks the370z forums but don't own a 370. I personally like this forums because everyone is very mature and I love cars in general and i think 370z is one of the best looking cars out there. Well anyways if you do state why your here and what car do you drive. I drive a EVO X GSR, and here on base I've only seen one silver 370z.

" I personally like this forums because everyone is very mature and I love cars in general" ......... you hit the nail on the head. It is refreshing to participate in a great site like this where opinions are respected, as well as the owner of the opinion. Like another posted, I started reading here before I got my 370, to learn, then joined about the time I picked up the Z. Nothing wrong with joining and participating before you purchase, or just participating in the fellowship if you never purchase......... and just like all here, truely love cars. Welcome!

John

I personally think more people should do this BEFORE they purchase!!! There's tons of great information here on the forums...what people like, dislike, what parts are out, etc. This is a great source of information for future buyers! This puts you in direct contact of people who own the vehicle you are considering for a purchase.

exactly what I've been doing, plan on purchasing in the next month orlk two.........have been stalking/posting last couple months....

I don't really hate on any cars wether it's muscle or a civic if it can outrun my evo in a 1/4 or around the track and don't look like it just came out of a rice cooker it has my respect.

Im a lurker as well, and have gained tremendous knowledge not only about the 370 itself, but the purchasing experience that goes along with it. Im presently sitting on a nice loan check from Penfed that has no where to go because the configuration and color I want doesnt exist in here in AZ(looked as far as Diego and LV). Looks like I have to wait patiently until I can order a 2010.

Let me know if we can help you in any way!

im a lurker, ive been visiting Nissan 370Z for months but nothings new??? I finally went back to Nissan cars, vans, fleet and services and the 370z is now listed, so I have booked a test drive.

<==BUSTED as a lurker too. I'm waiting, quite impatiently, for the Roadster. Having experienced the value of product specific forums for my motorcycle and my Land Rovers, I knew this was the place to start to learn the strengths and weaknesses, and the ins and outs of the product. I'm sitting on my VPP info from Bob Nash waiting for September while trying NOT to wish the summer away!

I have been a lurker on here as well. I can not wait until the day comes to where I become an owner of a 370, but I am not quite there financially yet. As soon as I am, that car will be mine :) I agree with just about everything that has been said so far though. And major rep points to you AK, this is a great forum that you have put together and I am glad to be apart of it...

I've been lurking and reading, and the more I read the more I dont want this car. Too much info on any car may be a bad thing. I've been readying about the WRX, 135i, Cayman, and 370z and all i find are problems that would stop most people from buying these vehicles.

Anyway, now I'm trying to decide whether to wait on the 2010 370z or buy the current model and live with the problems. The 370z just looks so cool, rides great, but has a harsh engine, buzzing noise issues that may drive some people insane, and may change color after a rain storm since the cheap paint will probably run right off the chasis. Hmmmm, I'll take it!

Saw one yesterday on the highway and I had to use my hand to close my mouth. This car looks so damn awesome.

One year model is not going to fix all of the issues. I'm still planning on buying an '09 if one is still available in a few months if not sooner. You have to understand, there are alot of picky people on here. One owner's problem may not be the same across the board with all 370s. Don't make your decision based on that. One thing about the car might bother one person and then everyone else it might not bother and or have an effect on them.

That's only because we ban all the pro-life/pro-choice, gun-control/gun-advocacy, religious/secular, American/foreign built only, Liberal/Conservative, left-handed/right-handed idiots from this forum! Now, what side of the egg do you suppose is the correct side to open? Big end or little end?

Test drive one and you'll see first hand that the engine isn't harsh and there are only a few that have had the buzzing issue and had it fixed under warranty. The paint is soft but no softer than many other paints (clear coat actually) - I suspect something soft is likely more compliant and its not like you put your coffee mug on the roof and there is a ring on the roof from the base of the mug (although I'm not condoning using your roof as a coffe mug holder).

I'd just hate to see someone miss out on this magnificant vehicle because of little itty bitty things being blown out of proportion.....

Yea i'm a stalker my self. Although not as much as earlier this year. I plan on buying one sometime later this year or next. I go on here to find out any info on the Z. The dislikes, the likes and among other useful info and tips.
