Just curious.... what do you do with your stock part after an upgrade?? Big items like exhaust ans suspension. Chances for someone to buy it are slim. Do you just trash them?

Keep them. Not that you are going to sell your OEM parts. But if you ever want to sell/trade in your z, stock Z ALWAYS has better re-sell value and MUCH easier to sell(more people will be interested in) then a modified Z. While you always can part out your aftermarket parts for good money when you decide to sell your z. Trust me on this! Plus if anything goes wrong, like fail the inspection or pulled over by cops or parts worn out, you will always have a backup plan. Like you said yourself, how much you can get from the OEM parts. So why not just keep it. You won't regret it.

What forza said. People who buy the car are more comfortable with OEM parts. There is a stigma about aftermarket parts installed and it is not positive. This is a very good point.

Absolutely. I had an Eclipse prior the my Z. I held onto the stock exhaust for almost a decade, and was glad I did. The car sold quickly, and the buyer was a couple looking for a car for their 16-year old daughter. I doubt they would have had any interest in the car with a loud A/M CBE and cold air intake on it.
