looks like its about a 3 hour drive for me. may just have to day trip it if i can't get a place to stay.

Check this link for places to stay in the area. The event is staged from Fontana Village, but one isn't REQUIRED to stay there, it's just the most convenient place.

Hopefully, the Topoco Lodge will be back in business for next year as well. I told my wife when we win the lottery tonight, we will buy it. Anyone have 4 million I can borrow? I will open it up to Zers for the week.

You shouldn't have any problem finding a place for next year this early. I would definately make a weekend of it though!

Yeah, at least make a weekend of it. The event itself was a blast, but honestly, I think I had more fun Wednesday & Thursday before the event itself kicked off. I really like that the organizers let you do what you want.

I will probably be there all week next year.
