"cheapest" you should have expected that. The word "cheap" and a $30k+ car just dont mix very well

Discount won't even drive my car onto the lift, they make me do it... and this is just my SRT.
I don't know if it's because no one knows how to drive stick or they are just genuinely afraid of damaging it... yet they drive other vehicles onto the lifts no problem. |

I hate the Walmart and refuse to buy anything from them or use their services due to their labor policies. I used mr tire last time for the Nismo tire purchase, balance and mount. They did a great job and did the alignment. Hope you get it fixed but I bet they will claim it happened after you left. Good shops will inspect your car with you and verify its condition before they touch it. That way, no arguments about damage.

The old myth was that having a shop backed by a major corporation meant everyone had to answer to someone, so work should be good, and they have the resources and wherewithal to cover liability if there's a problem.
But... as we all know, the reality of the corporate model is to make as much money as possible while cutting costs whenever possible, which often winds up screwing the consumer, and here we are. That's unacceptable. The issue isn't whether you "got what you paid for", because its a given that you shouldn't have to pay extra just to avoid having damage done to your car. Effectively, this makes walmart's "service" a scam. They made around 6 billion in profits last year and pay their workers **** wages, (which is probably why the tech wasn't as careful as he could have been..) They can afford a new bumper for you. Raise hell, go after walmart, but expect to handle this through your own insurance in the end. Sorry, man. Call corporate and tell them that this will be all over facebook and several big car forums by tomorrow and that you will also file a complaint with better business bureau if they don't take responsibility for it. Tell them you don't want the tech punished -- you want his wealthy overseers to make up for it. A mistreated, poorly trained dog bit you -- go after the irresponsible and wealthy owner.

I definitely am not a rich man.. but I refuse to get tires mounted at "the cheapest tire mounting service in my area".
Damage to a car is never ok, but good god man! Spending a little more on the tire mounting is totally worth it. I bet they scraped and dented those wheels too.

true story, I had a flat on a Sunday so i stopped at sams club and asked them to repair it. they wouldn't fix it because it wasn't one of theirs. So i asked them if i could buy 1 tire from them, they told me the only sold them in pairs. so i said sell me two tires then, so they looked it up and they then told me they didnt have my size in stock. this took about an hour to accomplish. nothing to do with your issue but this reminded me of my experience with sams fabulous tire service! (no this was not for my Z, i wouldnt let them near my z )

regardless of the shop, and how much I trust them, I never bring the wheels and tires on my car, always carry them in loose and install them myself at home.

Had my integra at a shop once and learned my lesson. They didnt have a jack low enough to get under the car. I stood about 10' away watching them, not even through a window. Retard 1 stands by my fornt fender, Retard 2 stands ready with the jack. I am thinking to myself they honestly arent about to do what I think they are. Sure as ****, Retard 1 lifts up while Retard 2 tries to slide the jack under. I am like WTF ARE YOU DOING? They proceed to tell me that they do this all the time and nothing will happen. Before I have the chance to tell them to get their ******* hands away from my car he lifts again and creases my fender!!!
I blow a gasket right there in the bay. I yell for the manager to get out here and tell him WTF they just did. I was SUPER PISSED BRAH!!!! He ends up sending me across the street to a well known body shop and comps a new fender plus spray. Even he couldnt believe what they did. I even stated at the begining that they more than likely would need a small peice of wood under each front to get any of theirs jack under it since non were low pros. Sorry to hear this. Reminds me of the two parking lot attendants from the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
As far as WalMart goes, I've interacted with employees at Walmart and question the quality of their hires or the training they provide. They probably have the same practice when they hire their techs. I've been to many WalMarts and have not been impressed by their people in general. Thanks for sharing your bad experience with the rest of us.
