Stillen vs Fast Intentions vs Invidia

I was wondering which exhaust to purchase out of these three. i'm looking for both some performance and loudness.

1. Invidia Q300
2. Stillen true dual exhaust
3. Fast Intentions

Lots of people tend to go with FI.

I'd suggest you to look through the intake/exhaust section and search around:

many, many clips on Youtube.com: Check out 370z & G37 exhaust sounds

I liked Stillen initially, but I did not like the long tips. I am going with FI, plus those pipes look so mean.

For looks and sound, I would go with FI

If you are tight on budget, you can go with Topspeed exhaust + stillen HFC

TopSpeed + Berk HFC sounds like pure sex... best sounding combo I've ever had.

Stillen with HFC's is so raspy it's embarassing to drive.

Fast Intentions... Be prepared to wait.

Heard nothing but good about Invidia.

I currently have Berk and it's my favorite. Slight rasp at WOT around 4500 rpm... Otherwise sounds great, fitment is better than OEM and the tips are the best looking IMO.

4. ARK Grip

ok, so, i started out with the Stillen HFC and CBE because i have the Stillen SC. Let me just say, that, the Stillen exhaust has good volume.....but it is bad volume. In other words, it doesn't sound good! I have since switched to the Motordyne ART pipes and FI CBE and let me tell you, it is night and day difference! The exhaust note is soooooo much better! I have friends with Z's that have FI pipes and CBE and again, soooooooooooo much better!!!

I cannot vouche for ARK as i have not experienced it first hand.

:iagree: just watch out for tailpipes that rust quickly. FI is known for that. Rolled as opposed to flat tips are better.

And remember...opinions are like a$$holes...everyone has one.

Had my FI for 6 months now. Put about 8K miles on them. Not a spec of deterioration whatsoever, least of all rust. Check out the FI thread, there is not one complaint about rust or any other type of deterioration, on the contrary, every single post on there is complimentary for sound and looks. I agree on the wait, it's about a 10 to 12 week waiting period. That in itself tells you the system is outstanding.

Not sure where all the negative hype is coming from. Some guy posted on here his mechanic told him the welds rust on FI exhausts.. again, not true. Everything looks pretty darn shiny still. Installed them first week of April of this year, and have driven them all over, in rain conditions as well. VERY satisfied with looks and sound.

I don't own a Z anymore. Maybe I shouldn't have chided in on this thread(?). You will see that everyone who has a certain kind of exhaust will tell you it's the best thing since sliced bread.

Thus , the quoted comment:ugh2:

I have the F.I. exhaust and it is all stainless steel, end to end. The quality is top-notch.

:iagree: it's one of the best quality exhausts on the market. I have read through the whole FI thread and haven't seen any complaints of rust, but even if you do, there is a limited warranty on that.
