I love the Top Gear show. But Jeremy is a Z hater, atleast all of them except the 1st-Gen-Z. So he'll probably bash the 370 too. :shakes head:
|
Funny his criticism on the 350Z had not contributed to the fact that it became the car of the millenium, in sales and is used in a whole field of sporty scenes for instance drifting. I don't see how it being designed in California had to do with anything the car stood for, lmao it's that type of criticism you would get from an Englishmen or where ever he is from due to the car being made in the U.S. Also the sound of the car?? Muscle car?? Doesn't want to drive it fast because of the road the guy crashed on?? Drive the car on a track moron!!! come on get real. If he dislikes the 370 Z, this man needs to stay off the roads period!!!.

Oh and it's not my site, somebody posted it on the other Z forum. I just thought everybody here would enjoy it. Oh and it does have the latest episodes. The one from last week was with the Ford Fiesta and it's on there. :) |

I think he (Jeremy Clarkson) will laothe the exterior, synchro-rev match feature..and fine some other stupid reasons to hate it. But in the end it doesnt matter....truthfully.

Personally, I think this is going to be one of those times where jeremy first talks crap about the 350z and then talks crap about the 370z's exterior and maybe a little about the interior. However, he will then say "So you'd expect this car to also drive like a total failure (Jeremy classic camera look straight at the camera), but it doesn't. in fact its brilliant. It's like... (insert ridiculous exaggeration/analogy here)." In the end he's going to be very impressed by the rev match system and the performance/price ratio. I think he's going to end the review on a very positive note. |

That is so true. Like all those times he says all the negative things about a car then says something like "Until you hit this button." Cue the epic music and the 370z sliding around the track. |
Complain:
1) lights 2) head room 3) material qiality (it feel "plastic-ish") Overall i too agree 2 w/posts above that this time it might end up in a positive note with the performance/price ratio. |
Clarkson is going to hate the looks, hate the interior, then fall in love with the performance and value of it. He's going to compare it to the original Z, and tell us that Nissan finally returned the Z to it's roots.

^^^^ I bet you are 100% correct.
|
he bashed the G37 pretty good.

I would take one, and love it, but I'd never spend my own money on one. |
^^^ wow why the hate for the G? Mine rocks and it kicks *** as a luxuray coupe. simple NA mods and your putting 310 HP to the rear wheels. it is faster then the 350Z and looks like sex.

The reason the new Z is so attractive to me is that it appears to be a much better drivers car - stiffer chassis, more steering feel, etc. The less that gets between me and the direct controls of the car, the better. Logically, you would assume that I am not interested in the GT-R. And you'd be right - I find it boring. I'm not looking for a flame war, just voicing my opinions that work for me. |
