Forza Horizon still has something nice to say about the 370
 

With the 370 seemingly taking the place of "whipping boy" in most car comparisons, it put a smile on my face to see our Z next to these monsters:

Too bad I don't play the XBOX, I'm a PS1,2,3 owner.

I am a super Gran Turismo fan. But the only other racing game that I would buy is forza. A nice thing about forza is the aftermarket upgrade section. They have Tein, Endless, HKS, Greddy, Nismo and all that. Can't wait to see how the Horizon turns out! And hey, see what my screen name says.;)

Forza Horizon looks too much like NFS. I don't know if I'd enjoy playing it...

Is this game supposed to be an online pvp kinda game or open world versus ai like need for speed?

agreed ^ it is straying away from the usual forza series but after playing the demo I am glad I preordered!

I've seen the preview of it but dk if I want to preorder it. Seems pretty good. May have to download the demo and play it. I've been playing Forza 4 when I get bored. I played with 370z every time I play Forza 4, it makes me want to get a 370z really bad lol.

Don't have a 370z yet but hopefully I'll be able to get in couple months.

I played the demo on my 360, and am glad I didn't preorder. Too much like NFS for me. I kept finding myself wishing it were GTA so I could get out and do other stuff. imho it also seems like the driving simulation is less realistic than the other games.

Anybody giving the 370Z as a Pre-order bonus? Or do I need to get the Collectors Edition or something?

I started playing Forza 4 last night for the first time. This is my second console. My first was a Coleco in the 1970's. This is a new experience.

At the hard setting the car seems to handle better than my own car, yet I get very similar times as I do when drive Laguna Seca for real.

Where do I need to set the settings to make the car realistic?

I grabbed the demo and dinked around in it some. It does not feel like either NFS or Forza 4, somewhere in the middle leaning more towards Forza 4 imo. The cars rotate faster and were tending to not understeer as much compared to Forza 4, but you still have to brake and pick decent lines for the corners. It seemed really strange.

I will probably stay away from this one.

Not a clue.

Turn off the assists. Will cause brakes to instantly overheat and car to go into limp mode after the first corner, just like the real deal.

I downloaded it but have not played it yet.

I hope the 370z is better in this game than Forza 4. It definitely needs a better exhaust note in the game.

They should probably add a FI exhaust option to the game.

Just played the demo and the graphics isn't like Forza 4. Can you even upgrade parts in Horizon? Or is it just racing stock cars. Game isn't too bad but I like Forza 4 better.

I put a Nismo kit on my Forza 4 370z...something just didn't look right. And they don't have the Nismo wheels so it looked weird

looking forward to Forza Horizon, i like outdoor/public street driving scenarios. One of my fav games in test drive unlimited, despite the poor physics.

I think there's some bad news that I just realized for us. I think to get the 370z you must pre order the game from some select retailers to receive it. Otherwise its not it the game.

yeah for right now it was a preorder car from target walmart and somewhere else. but it might be out in one of the car packs who knows

i got the game from gamestop so i got the 458 Golf R and 392 Challenger.. but you can go on forza forums and try to trade the codes.. im supposed to be getting a 370z code tomorrow

so freaking lame... I can't get the 370zzzzzzzzzzzzzz :( I didn't preorder it. I'm freaking pissed!! I want it naooowww

It's an addictive game....I just wrapped up all of the F class series races and the F class World Championship on the hardest competition setting with a Nissan Micra. I tricked out another Micra to run in the E class series....soooooo wicked fun. I "drive" a 370Z when I want to just log on and play without the stress of a full blown race.

I'll post a screen shot of my settings when I get home tonight.

Easiest way to get a decent setup is to just buy one (with in-game credits). Lots of cheap or free ones to choose from. If you don't like it, just get another one. Otherwise you can spend a lot of time upgrading, tuning and test driving. Tuning has quiet a learning curve when you're starting out. Just started messing around with the drifting... got my "Tire Shredder" tag last night. :tup: 1000hp 240sx makes it pretty easy.

Are you serious? We have to wait and buy the DLC fir the 370? That kind of takes away some of my excitement for the game.

Picked it up yesterday.. awesome game.

For those who has got the game, can you do upgrades? And that sucks you can't get the 370z!! I was thinking about getting it.

yeah all the body kits wheels engine suspension and all that from Forza 4 are in the game

Just spent a good 6 hours straight playing my copy that arrived today. I just wish Target would send me my code for the 370Z.. =]

Is it emailed or something?
