This Forum drives "everyone" crazy!!! That is why "everyone" is selling the Z.

SolidRed370Z 10-11-2012 11:58 PM

Or could it be that you drive everyone crazy on the forum? which makes everyone sell their beloved Z

I bought the Z for it combination of styling and respectable performance. I still think it's the best looking sub $40 sports car on the planet. That's enough of a reason to love my car... and keep it.

no i definitely did my hw or else id be in a vette instead. i didn't buy the car for the straights. i got it for the twisties and drifting, plus the styling cues. when i do want to punch it on an empty stretch of road, it's just been boring is all i'm saying

sorry, when i said everyone i meant the particular owners around my area. there's a local 370 meet and it just died. people just selling left and right. plus there's always a plethora of z's being sold in the Sales section and the car's been out only a few years. i know some people change it up almost every year but there is a lot of sale threads for a fairly rare car on the road, much less the actual amount of owners that are on this forum.

Well the Z is not for everyone and some people just have to find that out for themselves. Many people get rid of them llike you said because of financial problems, kids, and other priorities. But for the few that do love the Z car with hold on and cherish it forever (or at least till they upgrade). But I bought mine cuz I grew up around the Z car and have loved it ever since I was a kid.

If I care about the planet, I will buy a diesel, if I need fuel efficiency, Porsche 918 all the way. :happydance:

I am 48, keeping cars for a while is just what I do. I did a LOT of research before my purchase, unlike some I knew what I was getting into.

I hear ya bro... I wasn't talking about you specifically. I've just seen so many threads where people are complaining that there Z isn't faster.

It's a fun car to drive but it's not a super car or a race car. It's a super sexy, middle of the pack sports car. Love it for what it is. Don't hate it for what you want it to be.

This is pretty much my approach. I'm only 26, but I drove my previous car for 9 years before getting the Z. I plan on driving this one for a good 15 years before really moving on. I will eventually get something to supplement though, but I still have a few years before I need to think about that.

drifting it will be interesting when the VDC is never fully off. Have you tried drifting it? Im guessing itll be pretty hard to hold with stock hp and that KK a$$.
