hummmm... the dots are just LED's. i think its the sensors and sendors that making the LED's appear inaccurate. in that case, even if you app has a fuel meter, it's only going to be accurate showing inaccurate readings.

kinda like saying MT on a car sucks while it's really the driver that sucksarse at driving MT's. :icon17: wont fix the problem by giving another MT.

I have no idea how "could" showed up 3 times. hahaha

If you look at the hks camp 2 system, it allows you to purchase additional sensors. So lets say you wanted to monitor oil pressure, you would buy the hks oil pressure sensor and tap it into a oil pressure source. Then wire it up to your camp 2 so the pressure can be displayed.

I guess for torque to do that, the sensors would somehow have to be tied into the stock ecu. Not saying it's ever going to happen, but I can dream right?

You will never see oil pressure as there is no oil pressure sensor. The factory "sensor" is just a is there more than a couple psi switch. The low pressure dtc is actually set when the valve timing detects an error. The ecu in our car has absolutely no idea what the oil pressure is.

Sorry to bump an old thread, how are you getting the cooling fan activation to work?

Just got the OBDLink MX, Torque, and the Nissan plugin for torque and I'm loving it! Thanks to all the previous posters for the great tips and info! :tiphat:

I just installed Torque pro with Nissan Advanced EX with the OBDLink Interface.

My ECU was e-tuned with UPrev with target and logged values about 12.6 - 14.7 AFR

Torque is logging 8.0 - 9.5 AFR !

What's happens?

Just started getting into this. Have an OBDLink MX and Torque. Is the Advanced EX plugin useful on the Z?

370Z JT 08-30-2016 11:11 AM

^you get engine oil temp reading.

Uxi 08-30-2016 11:55 AM

Hmm... and we already have a gauge for that. Not sure that's worth another $5... No 'camshaft angle' or 'cruise control speed?"

Was hoping tire pressure would be in there, somewhere at least.

I took a quick look at the Torque web site. If you know the address/PID of the variable, it looks like Torque will let you look at just about anything. https://torque-bhp.com/forums/?wpfor...topic&t=4532.0 shows how to convert from ECUese to human-readable form.

Whats better out of using kiwi 3 or torque pro?

Need to be able to display engine and trans oil temp, pressure, and boost gauge?

I don't know if there is a trans oil temp sensor that you can access.
