I'm looking forward to having a car that dogs are not allowed to ride in. We have a Great Dane and a Boxer; not gonna happen in a Z hatch!!
|
We have a 75lb great pyrennes mix. She looks like a white golden retreiver. I'd love to put her in the back, but she'd be cramped and have to be laying flat. Never gonna happen... (not to mention white hair all over my black interior)

I'm pretty sure my Doberman would fit and probably wouldn't mind laying back there for a short ride. My problem would be getting the sweetheart in there without scratching my car. She is about 70 lbs and I would want to pick her up and place her in there to keep toenails away from everything. I dont think I could manage getting her up and in, not to mention getting her out safely. I am planning on her riding in the passenger seat for our trips out.

i put my lil brother in the hatch (before the sub box)..he's 13...pretty tall. so dogs should be fine :)

grahfz, nice dog, looks like she fits pretty nicely back there.
My lab usually rides in the back seat of my prelude and generally stays back there without to much commotion. I guess my only concern would be safety in the case of a wreck. My only other concern would be her scrathing my car getting in and out of the car. I wouldn't mind just going the way of the STI due to its practicallity and still very fun to drive but I kinda want to stay away from the boy racer cars. |
yeah, I don't like stuffing them back there for the obvious reasons. she pretty much just lays down until we stop moving.
The 370 just destroys 350's on the highway... and a g37S... for the money, it's really hard to even equal the 370. My favourite part of the car is the a-arms. |
I guess another couple options in place of the Z would be an e46 M3 or the e92 335.
The back seat would allow me to stuff my dog back there and still be sporty, fast, and non boy racer. Decisions, decisions. I still have a few more months before I'd be willing to buy so I have time to make up my mind. |

I wouldn't put any animal inside a 370z.
Just think of it as a corvette. Do you see people who own corvettes driving around with a lab? |

i'm sure its been done.

Remove the passenger seat and let him lay there. Putting him in the back isn't worth risking your lives (yes, plural) if you get into a collision.

I hope to be able to put my 50 lb. Shepherd mix in the hatch area. Only when someone else is riding shotgun though. So far the dog has been able to ride shotgun with me.
