When I was last out cleaning and waxing my car an older guy (60+) was out for a walk and stopped by and talked about the 280Z he had when he was younger.

I deff give honks, thumbs, high fives, lights, whatever to any Z owner. Sadly i'm like the only 370z in my area lol. See some 350's from time to time, and they always seem to wave back or honk, and a stock looking 240z the other day honked with me!

Yeah.. a high beam here where I live means you want to get shot.

For me two times. First, my GF thumbs up another 350z and he nodded back. Second was when this Z was looking to pull out while other Jenks won't let him. When it was my turn I yielded for him and he pulled out in front of me, blinked his emergency light twice and drove on. I'd like to assume he was saying thanks.

In Japan, emergency flasher light is thank you or allowing you to go ahead. In Hawaii, I'll give the shaka sign to any Z, if they're looking.

I definitely get more waves from 350 owners than other 370 owners here. Most of the 370z owners I have run into are much older and cant be bothered to wave.

i used to get so much attention when i had my 07 350Z - car washes, grocery parking lots, gas stations, pizza take-out, etc. i've even got a few chicks that would leave their number on the windshield. but with my 09 370Z, all i get is ricers that always rev their sh*t.

I am always the one to wave first but i do get waves back every once in a while, I really don't see too many other 370s though so it's kinda hard

In the 7 years I had this car not once did I pass by a WRX and they wouldn't acknowledge me. Many times I would be driving and hear a beep and as I would look at my rearview mirrors sure enough it was a WRX driver that had passed me and would be sticking their hand out the window waving.

My question is, why don't 370Z drivers do the same? I understand that this car is not as rare as the WRX (at least in Miami) but you don't see them that often either. Is there a reason for this? I also have a sportbike and people wave at me all of the time regardless of what motorcycle they're riding.

Just wondering why not with the 370Z?

Dude! I have been wondering the same thing...most of the time it's some old guy/woman driving it and they are completely oblivious to ANYTHING around them in the first place. But I can spot a Z from a mile away and I hope those who appreciate their Z do the same thing....we're not in a Toyota Camry here. That's one thing I always thought was cool with bikers, they all wave at each other... Don't think Harley guys wave at street bikes though and vice versa.....ego's...ppfff lol

i think it depends. i've seen tons of bikers harvey / sports wave back and fourth. well usually a downward point/wave

I was gonna say.. I don't rev my engine lol... When ricers rev their engine at me I roll my window down and yell at them that their exhaust sounds like Chewbacca taking a $hit.

Then as I disappear into the distance in way in front of them.. thennn they get to hear my exhaust. lol :yum: :owned:

I gave a thumbs up to an F-Type driver cause I have the biggest hard on for those cars. The guy looks at me, then looks forward.:shakes head:

I always cross paths with this Black 370z on my way to and from work in Burbank, CA down on Vanowen St and/or Victory Blvd and give each other a thumbs up. I wonder if that person is a member here ? By the way, if you are a member of this comuunity, I'm the guy with the Magma Red lol
