i'd like a Audi S4 (b6) w/ the 4.2 V8 & manual transmission

Ajobie 09-25-2012 02:23 AM

that is fine with me since I will be in Japan in a few months and have my R32 GTR for about $6,000. Once I buy it you can guarantee that I will be posting pics on the forum. :happydance:

Even the RS4s with low mileage aren't bad in price.

Subaru wrx w/ electric turbo...cuz safe for family, right?

I keep trying to explain to the girlfriend that the GT-R has a back seat so it's technically a family-oriented car but I don't think she's buying it.

R-35 or bust!

OKC Z 09-25-2012 09:17 AM

Well some might hate, other will like, and some wont give a rats a$$. This is the move I made on 9/1/12. From the touring to the R-spec. Disregard the Lexus to the right.

2012 Hyundai Genesis vs. 2012 Nissan 370Z

I always wanted to own a Porsche, I just hate the fact that the I can't do much of the general maintenance on it...It would have to be used of course as the retail is stupid as it depreciates by $20K in the first year. I've driven the Cayman and its like, well, no other car; very precise and purpose built like the Z.

those things with 50k on them are still like $40,000

SurfDog 09-25-2012 12:59 PM

If my wife has any say, it'll probably be a minivan. (Ill still hop it up though, maybe a K/N kit and some Berk HFCs!!!)

No, you're right. I was looking with mileage from 20k-40k and most were in the mid $40K.

Chevrolet Tahoe or Suburban within a few months to comfortably haul around my family during trips; GOD willing pay off my house in 2-3 years. I don't think there'll be an additional 2 doors cars to my collection besides the Z anytime soon ;)

I hear that! The next Z needs to raise the bar in performance value and have some serious next gen technologies. If not, then it's Godzilla for me!

Sagi 09-26-2012 01:47 PM

an SUV... maybe the new pathfinder generation? : ) ... or an Acura MDX...

IDZRVIT 09-26-2012 05:59 PM

A used CTS-V coupe two years from now. Wife will keep her Z roadster and I'll also hang onto the '76 vette.

:iagree: I like the GTR I think most 370z owners would give their left hand for one. :roflpuke2:

Aww. atleast you had fun during ownership. There will always be something better or something you aspire to get, but it all boils down to living in the moment. Enjoy what you have now, and worry about the rest when it happens. Becasue like they say...."You never know what you have till its gone" :icon17::tup::driving::happydance:

I love my Z, and it hasn't been a year yet. For me it was this or an E92 M3 and I just couldn't justify the cost when the Z is just as fun and gets more looks. My friend with his E92 is always complimenting me on it, too.

By the time I'm ready to sell, hell, I can't predict it now.

haha, I mentioned that she was like "you already have 2 cars, 3rd car better have 4 doors." So unless the GT-R comes in 4 doors....it's a no for me. :tiphat:

Bmw

I plan to purchase a BMW 3 series coupe. I need a normall car. My insurance denied me an umbrella policy because I have a high powered sports car.

Ztoon 09-27-2012 11:41 PM

R8........ although I'm keeping the 370 in the family.

LakeShow 09-27-2012 11:48 PM

Try to convince the girl by telling her that the GTR is AWD and a great winter vehicle and very safe lol.

StreetDancer 09-28-2012 05:21 AM

I’m thinking of buying a Ferrari, any kind of it. I have the confidence that I’ll buy a better one once I’ve got the money.
