I woke up to this!
 

I heard a noise at 3am and thought the thump came from next door and went back to bed.

The wife went out front this morning to find this, And wakes me from my sleep.

I'm pretty F*cking Pissed right NOW but relieved it wasn't any worse than just the rear glass.

If I were to find out who it was I'd like to Hang them upside down by their BALLS :mad:

I NOW have to spend out of pocket $$ that could've been better used than to having a window replaced.

I'm not going to deal with my insurance since the deductible is more than the cost of replacement.

I'll enjoy whats left of my Weekend. :ugh2:

Anytime something bad happens to our Z's we get pissed. What a pain and it is annoying. Hope nothing else happened to it but the glass.

Triple's good to know and Im very sorry for the hassle. Being from LA originally I do not miss that kinda random sheeite at all. I hope someone can provide a clue or tip to find these 'people' who did this.

How much is that glass? Do you have free window replacement with no deductible? It's a law in our state.

You guys should consider a $250 comprehensive deductible. It is like $20 more per year than a $500.

What did they use? A rock?

Thats why you need a garage, you can't leave a car like a Z alone at night parked in the open and think that it will be left alone.

Probably some thieves testing your response, they will probably be back to do more damage or steal it or someting off the car.

Waiting for a price still, But I figure it'll be under my deductible of $500 unfortunately for me :(
The Police Officer inspected inside and didn't find anything that would've caused it.

He did mention that by the looks of it they either drove by or walked up to it and hit it up close.

I look at it as an act of random vandalism and nothing personal.

Just giving you a tip from personal experience, most thieves or vandals do return, unless the car is moved.

You 'almost' wish they took something to give a reason for the random act of destruction....so upsetting, especially on the weekend

Sorry to hear! Vandals need to be dealt with accordingly. You might want to make some changes to your garage to make some room for your Z! I, like you, had the same problem and I did some major spring cleaning and rearranging to make room for the Z!

sry to see this tho.hope it will get fixed soon. I used to get this kind of situation too on my Rx8. I was parking it in front of my house and went to Thailand for summer when I got back. My tail light is broken into pieces, and I know it was hit by a basketball from a kid who live beside me. :( I didnt even get money or apologize from them, and it's suck as hell that the deductible is higher than replacing a tail light myself.

I would double check your insurance coverage glass. Some offer a zero deductible for glass separate.

Someone stole my neighbors exhaust in mid day.. I hate tweakers, they staged it while one guy was cutting it off the other was revving his engine so you couldn't hear the noise from the cutter.

That sucks man. I hate parking outside for that very reason, you never know when a person gets bored/drunk/angry whatever else, or just by accident does something.

Parking inside is a luxury and I very much appreciate it.

i'll do that next time i stuff mine in there. right now i have the Z, cornwell rolling tool box, push mower, gas trimmer cooler, cabinet, and 2 motorcycles when fully packed. i usually only put it up if its going to storm or i'm riding my bike to work more than the car that week.

Doy ou know what caused it to berak? it wasnt a brick throguh the window was it.
