Got Z? 06-26-2009 08:28 AM

Interesting...

What made you ask this question?

BTW, I voted "own" but there should have been an option for "My bank owns..."

Being military, and seeing as I'm single living in the Baltimore area, I most definitely live on base :-p

import111 06-26-2009 08:34 AM

I own my house

theDreamer 06-26-2009 08:34 AM

Live with the parents, but pay rent/utilities, so none fit me.

My car payment is slightly more than the "actual" house payment, (meaning, discounting PMI, Home Owner's Insurance, Taxes)

I used to own one when I lived in the UK, but renting since I moved here

I'm not trying to diss but unless you're under 18 there is no way you should be living with your parents (unless of course you are taking care of them) and be driving a sports car. Priorities man.

One of the following statements does not belong:

Hey baby, look at my bada$$ car. Hey fellas check out how fast my whip is. C'mon man I told you not to call me after 10 my "roommates" are sleeping.

I completely disagree.
In a financial situation I choose, since I had the option, to live at home during college. I pay rent, pay my own bills, buy food, pay for my car, pay for college, and in return get a slightly reduced rent bill by living at home. Pluses, I get a bigger place than anywhere else I could rent, safe neighborhood, and my parents do not care if people call late. Hell, people ask where I live and I will gladly say my parents house, I have no shame in the fact I own a sports car and live at home, because of the long list of things in the second sentence.

To each his own.

Personally, I prefer to do the nasty as far away from my parents as possible. In 1996 I accidentally killed a girl trying to keep her quiet in my parents house, at least thass what I told the judge.

Home owner here of two properties and looking to buy a third since this economy is making it so easy to do so.

The benefits from owning are substantial btw when it comes to tax breaks, equity and credit building. Not to mention investment potential in this economy.

Every local Z driver that I have talked to lives at home and drive a $40k car. Don't get me wrong I lived at home till I was 24 but didn't drive a $40k car and I saved over $100k which I used to buy my first home.
