Finally ordered a vanity plate. Been saying I would for months and never got around to it.

Dropped car at Nissan because still have misfire code. Always thought due to aem cAi and hfc. But noticed valve cover leaking other day which I thought they fixed in November.:shakes head:
So turns out they replaced only crush gasket last time, and reset throttle body.
They said valve cover leaking and will replace coils / plugs this time.

Update...Well at least they gave me a maxima. Guess I'll be taking a road trip.

Masterbeatty 02-15-2014 08:53 PM

I got towed up a snowy hill to my house for the first time.:shakes head:

I miscalculated the snow storm and couldn't make it home. I felt like a shmo being pulled up a hill by a Toyota Tacoma. At least I know the tow hook works now. :bowrofl:

Pintsize725 02-15-2014 10:31 PM

Had a night out with great friends. Got home safely.

roy'sz 02-15-2014 11:32 PM

New oil hoses, new mocal adapter, fresh oil, seamfoam, drained air oil separator and a test drive.

onzedge 02-16-2014 11:31 AM

I finally got around to my short shifter installation yesterday.

Also, rear fog light installed....

Installed 20mm spacers with extended studs from Z1,drove about 50 miles some time over 80 mph, no vribation, and the car look awesome.

Here the photos why the 20mm bolt-on spacers did no fit my wheels in the front,so not all the rays wheels are the same or my wheels are f..up or maybe the spacers.

blackcherry20 02-16-2014 07:35 PM

you needed to get the DRS spacers they replace the OEM studs where as the DRM just mount on and the OEM studs and the will stick out just a little farther doing that to your wheels :ugh2:

$250 for that part not including paint and labor. I had to fix both of mine. Make sure that when you get that part ordered that they order the rubber gaskets that go underneath the piece. Sorry to see this bro, good luck.

  • finally some consistent-ish rain, so i reinstalled the weathertech mats this weekend (they're so hard, and not cushion-y :ugh:)
  • drained and bled the clutch fluid with rbf600
  • drained and filled the rear diff with 3 quarts of redline 75w90

got a track day next month, so im slowly starting to drain the fluids in preparation :). just hit 35k too, so ill be doing the trans fluid again (redline mt-85), and new brake fluid (rbf600) next weekend

I smell piggies that didn't feel like doing paper work. He had to confess is the biggest line of BS I've heard in quite some time. No, no, officer, I am pressing charges on this punk.

PedroVonSmith 02-17-2014 04:24 PM

Thanks for the heads up Roy, I am pissed about the whole situation. I did the ''right thing'' called the cops, returned to were the rock was thrown. The kid was still there with his friends. Clear as day. I wasn't a **** to the cop. I don't get the legality behind ''he has to confess''. I saw him do it. I gave the cop his description which he matched clear as day. Before I went back and found the kid. I didn't say a word to the kid just called the cops. So last night I invested in a dash cam. I guess the exhaust and air intake will have to wait....

Sorry hear about this. However since you called it in their is a record of this. You can go down to the station and file charges and tell the shift sup. what had happened and tell him the officers response. It might be worth a shot. Once again sorry this happened. :shakes head:
