My wife gets mad at me if I don't let her drive it at least once a week to work....Too bad we are both without the Z while its in the shop :roflpuke2:

Hi Chris, so sorry to hear that. It's a horrible feeling to walk out and see where someone has transferred their hate onto your private property. Hope you get everything sorted out soon, and hope that person finds help with their mental state before they hurt someone else or themselves.

This is so messed up. How awful. Best of luck. Uploading the picture is unnecessary.

Installed new LED license plate bulbs. I had some connection problems with ones previously where the contacts are just a single filament. I won't have any problems with the connection with these

*sigh* got somewhat of a quote today from the body shop. Seems like they are just digging an digging to milk the insurance company for money. My quote to fix my car so far is at $12,000.... When I asked them what my total out cost was, they responded "Not 100% sure but when we get close, it'll red flag us." :shakes head:

There's no way it would cost 12 grand to fix that damage.

I'd laugh in their faces.

Chris

Can't you get a check cut first then shop around with different body shops?

I do not want to talk out of turn but wouldn't you be better off if they total your car and then you buy it back for a song and paint or wrap it any color you wish while pocketing most of the money?

Bking 08-08-2013 04:40 PM

I changed my tires today. yay.

GaleForce 08-09-2013 07:58 PM

Changed my oil, fixed a small leak at the oil pressure sending unit, installed Mishimoto rad hoses.

SURPRISE!!!!! My $12k estimate is just :roflpuke2: at the moment......Final quote for the damages....

http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps66746b43.jpg

Thats right......$16.1k total damage....

And yet she looks so innocent in this pic......and this is the BAD side of things...

http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...psb59844ea.jpg

They said my undercarriage was destroyed so a lot needed to be replaced....This was the same day they towed my car to the shop....They say it looked "deceiving." What do you guys think??? Pictured the same time as the pic above.

Just finished installing Kinetix HFC's. It took me around 3.5 hrs and that's including a couple of runs to Lowes for tools. It was no where near as hard as replacing the cats in my 300zx TT. The new Z sounds pretty damn awesome!

I parked my new Z (bought it last month) on the side of the street and got a note on the windshield saying that they accidentally scratched my back passenger rim.. They left a name and phone number but I'm wondering... how the heck does one scratch the center area of a rim of a parked vehicle? It looks like it was done on purpose. I feel like they want to meet me up to rob me or something if I call them. What do I do?

Weird. No answers. Maybe it really is legitimate. Why so suspicious? Could have been a bike or something...

Yea true, guess I'm just being paranoid. How much money should I ask for? The scratch looks like a 2 inch scuff in 2 different spots.

luigi90210 08-10-2013 11:00 PM

Installed intakes and went on a canyon run.

Today was a good day

You should probably get a repair estimate first.
