yep, factory wheels are expensive too if you buy new.

i think TL and Maxima (some Altima) folks are also getting just the rears or fronts non-staggered. might want to check craig's list for local sale. you might find your set.

:icon14: OMG-can you imagine-surfing the web and seeing YOUR stuff for sale!

I like to think that the NYPD is cracking down on this issue. There have been some published arrests within the past year in the Queens area but it seems every time they bust one ring another fills its place. Note to all NYC and Queens Z drivers, get some diesel wheel locks or park it on secured private property.

holyhell that's awesome..most cops don't even put in the effort to dust for prints. Either way those wheels replaced by insurance will cut you a check that can buy volks with change left over lol

Update: Just got out of the 109 police station. I dont know this clown. He is telling the police he saw my sportscar and was just touching it. (i call BS). Luckily theres a school camera that was pointing at where I parked my car and they are downloading the tape at the moment. Have to go back to the station to get the report. Should i report this to my insurance company? would this raise my insurance?

I cannot tell you on the internet what I would do to the guy that just "touched " your car..

If you don't have a high deductible I would report it to my insurance company unless you want to pay for new wheels, tires and any body damage out of pocket. Whether or not it raises your insurance rates depends on the insurance company and the totality of factors.

You never bring another person into the loop....Vengence is always served cold, and no one is told what you feel or do...Also it is done solo, so no one can talk about it later, and you leave your cell phone miles away so as not to be tracked later.

And no I am not kidding...

Correct. I learned these fundamentals in the Paying People Back 101 class I took when a freshman many years ago.

absolutely you should report it and i don't think they can raise your premium because of this. worst case scenario, you pay $500 to get them to write you a check for $4000 to replace the wheels, then find a nice set of aftermarket wheels or used OEM's for less and keep the change

kenchan 08-14-2012 01:03 PM

yah, definitely report to your insurance company. wheels should be covered under comprehensive, if im not mistaken.

HDyoyo 08-14-2012 01:42 PM

LOL:shakes head: thats why I said Jk JK:tup:
