ISF would be my top pick. Too many people have Audi's these days, especially in my area. Even the S models are common. BMW's used to be like that but Audi has replaced that fad. They are both good brands, its just so many people buy into the hype that they are the only good brands.

My brother had an 04 S4. Nice car he loved it, the only issue was when something broke the part was never instock because his was an S model and had to be special ordered and cost an arm and a leg and took a week to get in. Both the S5 and ISF will have this issue. Long term the BMW may be the better choice.

Having some seats for my friends would be nice as well.

As for what you guys have said about the 335is is true I hate seeing a 3 series EVERYWHERE. I hear the supercharged v6 in the Audi is great I could pull an extra 70-80 hp and torque out of the car easily with a pulley, exhaust, air filter and tune.

The audi's interior is gorgeous, this car will be my dd and I know the Audi will be more comfortable I'm just worried it might not be as fun to drive as the BMW or isF.

The S5 would absolutely be as much fun. All three are great cars, but the Bimmer is definitely at the bottom of that list.

My dad's got an '08 RS4 and that thing is ridiculous. You cant' go wrong with the Audi.

335 IS no doubt pretty much a poor mans M3, that DCT transmission is great. That extra horespower and torque vs the normal 335I mid to high range is very noticeable (that extra 7 sec of extra boost mid range is really amazing), but good luck finding one of those as they are very limited and usually sell really fast.

Their engines are suspect....the 3.2, 2.0, and 4.2 direct injection motors all get gunked up with carbon on the valves. The 4.2 in my B6 is prone to cracking chain guides and tensioners and scored cylinders. I'm putting off Audi's until they prove that their direct
injection engines don't get gunked up. That said, 3.0 supercharged V6 in the B8 S4 seems to be ok, after having issues with water pumps going bad.

German cars, great under warranty (mostly).....not so much after its over.

S5, the launch of supercharger and awd is amazing, puts you back in your seat more than the others

my friend actually got rid of his m3 to get a s5, the s5s are pretty sick, his was white with red interior. dam that **** was boss!

I'm really leaning towards the s5 it seem to have the full package. The isF is also towards the end of its life and once the model changes mine will depreciate like crazy.

Once the South Florida Auto show comes around I'll get to see all the cars in front of me and then I can drive them to see what feels best. I would love an M3 but I feel they are to expensive for what you get. Great track cars but I don't live on the track lol

Lol I'll let you know what I decide, it's just the s5 is mod friendly also. A pulley, exhaust, and a tune and I should easily be in m3 or isf territory. I am really excited about the torque I hate how the Z has low torque.

My dad has a 589 awhp and 596 awt gtr and god I love just always feeling the torque there same with my moms cls550.

Shamu 08-13-2012 09:53 PM

ISF for sure anyone can own a BMW or Audi beat box

Would've been done with school already but I switched my major and had to take different classes.

Friend of mine just bought the 2013 S5. Gorgeous inside and out. I'd go for that one.

I used to be an Audi lover. You understand lol.

The S5 is a very grown up car. I've driven my cousin's car on a few occasions and it definitely packs a punch. Still it lacks the "feel" of the Z, the Z gives the driver a better driving experience. I guess its best summed up like this, my cousin will more often ask me to let him drive the Lotus than I will ask for the s5 because of the fun factor.
