Also, it was well known that the 5.0 is the faster car when you got your Z so I'm not sure what you were expecting.

Didn't think it was big flames. I was just trying to diffuse the situation before it derailed this thread too much.
If it was all about raw numbers, everyone would drive like 3 different cars for their needs so there are definitely intangibles to owning and loving a car. I won't say my Z is faster than a 5.0 but I would definitely still rather have my Z.

Like i said im glad i leased the car because the 370Z didnt turn out to be what i expected, I dont know if having a sport package or anything would of changed my mind. Also Im talking about the 2013 Mustang coming out in the next month or two i was planning on waiting for before i got the Z.
I drove so many different cars even was going to be a wannabe baller and lease the M3 or C63 AMG but yes ive always loved the old school 240Z and my cousins had a twin turbo 300ZX and love the looks of the 370z for sure but in 3 years no more Nissan for me. |

But our cars are niche cars and don't need to be directly compared to any redneck-rocket for sure... all this thread is about is hoping to make the Z progressively better and using what we do know to make logical assessments of the next-gen Z will be by use of nissan and competitor info. |

On a lighter note, how's this for daydreams.
Next Z should aim to be like this cayman alpha at 1/4 the the price tag. Yep impossible but fun to think about. http://www.topspeed.com/cars/porsche-cayman/ke5.html |

Read the some more down the page about next gen caymans.
Looks like more rumors of 4 CYL with turbos due to more stringent regulations. Auto industry changing to keep up with the times etc. |
