Question 2012 370z or 2013 370z

Hey, I recently visited a Nissan dealership to test-drive the 2012 Z. I plan to purchase my Z later this month. Now my question is should I go ahead and get the 2012 or is the 2013 worth spending a little more money on. I also test-drove the new 5.0 mustang which was pretty nice but I'd have to say the 370z definitley stole my heart Any input would be great! Thanks.

There's only little changes between 2012 and 2013, which isn't too much of a difference. But as the saying goes, "Out with the old and in with the new."

If you can afford it, go new. The ownership experience begins with you taking your car's break-in virginity.

Don't do sloppy seconds :P

You have no clue how bad the previous owner treated the used car....or if it was a 17 year old grinding his first manual car CARFAX will not show everything.

GO BRAND NEW IT'S YOURS ALL THE WAY

Hope this will be a tip for you.

I was going to purchase a Nismo 2013 but i changed my mind after replacing (will be soon) the body kit for the amuse and like whole car parts except the chasis lol.

The price ain't much differente comparing 2012 and 2013 models but you will save some $$ like i did for some tune.

ZKhan, My feeling is the difference in cost is less than 3%, get what you want. One of the reasons I chose the 13, because I know that I won't second guess my purchase in buying a newer model.

Don't sweat it, either way, you can't go wrong.

Is there really a price difference. When I bought one earlier this year the price of the 12 and 11 were identical. I did the VPP price since I'm in the military. Hell the used price was almost as much as I paid for mine brand new. I told myself I would never ever buy a brand new car just because of the loss of market value when you drive off the lot. But this is one purchase I will never regret. I got black cherry and that color never ceases to amaze me. Plus no one else in a 500 mile radius has a sport coupe in that color ;-). Good luck with the purchase!

I was having the same debate with myself a few weeks ago and I decided to wait and order a 2013 model. The reason i chose this was because the closest Z with my configuration i wanted was about 500 miles away and the dealership was giving me a hard time because they did not want to go get it. It was a deal breaker to me. They were not going to trailer it to my local dealership.
