So many people on this site don't even read the entire title let alone the actual content in a post. :shakes head: The "premium" is getting the touring pkg over the base model you have, not the color.

Its a good deal Touring/Nav + Sprt. Pkg + Backup Cam on KBB.com Dealer invoice is $38,306 with nothing else.

You might be able to get another $500 off during a holiday deal from the manufacturer. But you'd have to wait till Labor Day.

Dur :bowrofl: I was talking about the COLOR being the most desired therefore it was the "premium" choice and maybe the market demands a higher price...

Are any of these necessary, no, but they do add a luxury feel and I love the smell of leather when I get in the car..

All that luxury crap goes out the window IMHO, unless you dynamat the whole car.

Its best to stay away from the 2012 models right now and only buy the 2013.

You can buy almost any new 2013 model of a Nissan for around 10% below MSRP.

So if you would buy lets say a $40K 2013 Z for $36K , then there is no reason you should pay $36K for the same model in 2012 Z . The dealer needs to price the 2012 model with more of a 15-20% price reduction in order for you to make sense for you to buy it or reduce the $40k MRSP left over car to around $32k.

Note! Most manufactures do give dealers hidden incentives in order to help them sell off the old left overs, before the new models arrive, that the buyer will never hear of.

This is the main reason I almost never buy a left over or previous year of any new car as you really loose your *** on them, when you sell or trade the car years later.

Now you opening a whole NEW can of wroms. If the like the 09-12 look get one of those, but if your digging the new look of the 13's then grab one up.

Take it but try to wiggle 500 more or so from the dealer. Got mine with the Nav at 39.8 and no cost to finance. Prices on the 13's go up with very small difference. Get as much lux as you can, helps keep the value of your car up. If you decide to sell, people will also look for the nice extras. Good luck. Heated leather is great.
