PW 370z Touring with SP (Sport Package) PLEASE READ

So I called Joe at Koeppel Nissan and They had only 1 2012 PW 370z Touring with SP 6MT and back camera ect. it ran me 42k on the site, called in and he said around 38k. You think I can ask for lower maybe not????
I mean Whats the difference with the touring is it worth the extra 4k? off the base with sports which would run me like 33-35k with TTL and random fees?
HELP

Gauge 07-23-2012 07:37 PM

I think 38 is a fair price for that car. Only you can decide if you want the touring stuff.

blackcherry20 07-23-2012 07:41 PM

got my BC 2012 with sport for 32...how does it feel to you? paying premium for the PW I'm guessing-it seems to be most pop color...has everything BUT Nismo pack...lots of goodies...

I much enjoy the Touring package, nav system especially. I'm not a great one for directions, and I can't navigate with my iPhone as my son does. I could put the Nuvi in the window, but with the windshield angle, would block somewhat. So I let the Nav system talk to me and it works out fine.

But it's all about what it's worth to you. The sport package was worth it to me, too.

once the iphone is upgraded to ios6 nuvi won't be as important as it once was or is now.

Irs a great deal. Its below invoice so I would just jump on it. You can always try but if they become reluctant you might as well take it.

WARNING: They will try to recoup the discount by selling you oil changes, key protection, extended warranties, GAP insurance, Etc...
If you are fincancing... GAP is the only must. Everything else is for your convenience and all prices on the table are negotiable AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY what you don't need. Don't let them pressure you.

I disagree.
I've had built in nav in all my Nissan/Infinitis. 2002 Maxima, 2004 G35coupe, 2008 G37coupe, 2009 370Z, 2012 370Z...
I know it's personal preference, but it's MUCH nicer having nav built in, instead of holding a phone or sticking something to a window.

So many people on this site don't even read the entire title let alone the actual content in a post. :shakes head: The "premium" is getting the touring pkg over the base model you have, not the color.

Its a good deal Touring/Nav + Sprt. Pkg + Backup Cam on KBB.com Dealer invoice is $38,306 with nothing else.

You might be able to get another $500 off during a holiday deal from the manufacturer. But you'd have to wait till Labor Day.

whoady4shoady 07-24-2012 09:59 AM

Id pass on the touring stuff personally. I think the cloth seats in this car are some of the nicest ive ever been in, and I think the other stuff is unnecessary. If I wouldnt have gotten a great deal on my lightly used Nismo, I would have ended up with the base+sport. To each their own.

Minsu 07-24-2012 10:28 AM

sigh PEARL WHITE WILL I NOT GET YOU AND GET GUNMETAL!!!!
WILL I!?!?!?!?!?!

DR_ 07-24-2012 10:50 AM

The heated leather power seats are awesome and the leather door inserts look great. The Bose is really good for a factory radio. Homelink, pedals, and Bluetooth are nice. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the rear hatch cover.
Are any of these necessary, no, but they do add a luxury feel and I love the smell of leather when I get in the car..

Dur :bowrofl: I was talking about the COLOR being the most desired therefore it was the "premium" choice and maybe the market demands a higher price...

All that luxury crap goes out the window IMHO, unless you dynamat the whole car.

KaienZ34 07-24-2012 12:19 PM

Up to you but i love my heated leather seats.

gsxr750 07-24-2012 12:58 PM

Its best to stay away from the 2012 models right now and only buy the 2013.

You can buy almost any new 2013 model of a Nissan for around 10% below MSRP.

So if you would buy lets say a $40K 2013 Z for $36K , then there is no reason you should pay $36K for the same model in 2012 Z . The dealer needs to price the 2012 model with more of a 15-20% price reduction in order for you to make sense for you to buy it or reduce the $40k MRSP left over car to around $32k.

Note! Most manufactures do give dealers hidden incentives in order to help them sell off the old left overs, before the new models arrive, that the buyer will never hear of.

This is the main reason I almost never buy a left over or previous year of any new car as you really loose your *** on them, when you sell or trade the car years later.

KaienZ34 07-24-2012 01:12 PM

Now you opening a whole NEW can of wroms. If the like the 09-12 look get one of those, but if your digging the new look of the 13's then grab one up.

Minsu 07-24-2012 04:39 PM

so the touring pw with sp and 6mt i think the final walk out price will be like 41-42 grand.
what do you think
he said 38k, he dropped it from 42, 7k for trade in.
what do you think

Take it but try to wiggle 500 more or so from the dealer. Got mine with the Nav at 39.8 and no cost to finance. Prices on the 13's go up with very small difference. Get as much lux as you can, helps keep the value of your car up. If you decide to sell, people will also look for the nice extras. Good luck. Heated leather is great.
