PHUQ.... I'm committing to a NISMO, but as of right now... I'm kind of dreading that extra dough I gotta shell out. I hate to put more money down to keep montly payments down but eerrrrrrr

Ackrite 07-17-2012 12:49 AM

Glad I got a '12. Thats exactly what I wanted to avoid and no 0% apr. The price hike woulda made a huge difference for me and only getting colored wheels, calipers, and ss lines is not worth it for me.

How much has 370 price increased since inception? About 7-8%?

Cmike2780 07-17-2012 09:04 AM

Keeps my resale value up. :)

KaienZ34 07-17-2012 09:24 AM

The red brakes and front led's won't pay for themselves. :eekdance:

TypeOne 07-17-2012 09:26 AM

Ah... remember the days when they advertised that the Z started under $30,000.

^_^

LakeShow 07-17-2012 09:27 AM

Damn, didn't expect that much increase.

Exactly my thought! :)

The yen is strong right now. Hard to keep prices down on Japanese exports. If you want to see serious pain, go take a look at Japanese sportbike prices. :(

exactly^ that's one reason manufacturers do this. keeping the resale value up helps dealerships, especially ones where customers trade in year old (or slightly more) models for the new ones frequently. increases profitability.

owi1kenobi 07-17-2012 11:02 AM

that's probably the reason why even the used 2009 model here in orlando is as high as 29,000 with 30k miles. The price is going up !

I can still remember i paid only 30,500 everything tax/tag title/dealer fees etc. back in march 2009 for a base mt.

Nismo89 07-17-2012 11:03 AM

i can see why Nissan is thinking or doing this Mini Z project. prices on the regulars keep going up. and hey keeping the Low Miles on my Z doesnt hurt :) lol
