I'm glad ur ok op and I'm really sorry about your ride. But if that deer is not getting eaten? I feel sorry for the deer. They are living beings and deserve to live as well. You have insurance. You're alive. A deer is dead and he's not even going to feed some families.

Now the forum is ranting on how they hate deer. Another option would have been instead of trying to swerve at 45mph, using those all powerful brakes to stop would have better potentially avoided that situation. Our brakes from 45mph stop our cars in a few negligable feet. Trying to swerve any type of potential sudden accident is the WRONG move. BRAKING is the way to go when moving objects are in front of you. Especially from the broadside. You double your chances by avoiding the impact. Not guaranteed of course. But braking is the better option when compared to the swerve.

But again... more important is that your personal being is safe.
WTF???

Did you even read this in the OP (emphasis added):

The f'ing thing literally ran broadside into me while I was actively trying to avoid it going ~45mph. Seriously, it takes a special kind of ******* animal to time its suicide charge perfectly enough to keep me from seeing it until the last possible second and manage to hit ME and not the other way around.
And what does this have to do with immigration or "welfare hoes" having babies?

Lol... let me explain that... I guess that sounds pretty random. What it is that we keep building city after city after city, reducing our natural forests etc, that now these wild animals run through the city through lack of a place to live. This country is just overpopulated due to open, borders, loose immigration policies for european countries and people who opt to keep having babies. This is the back lash of having to build more cities at a high pace andthus reducing a home for our wildlife.
I see all kinds of shyt here in the city. Bobcats, deer, wolves, poisonous snakes, etc... things that we would never see in a city. Its due to all these friggin companies buildin communities and businesses.

I know he was broad sided, but what I'm sayin is in the time it took to swerve, braking would have probably saved him more. I'm not saying it being mean. Just as an advice. I was in pretty much in the same situation back home. But I was a passenger. We braked hard... we still hit the deer. He popped back up though. If we would have swerved? We would have had to hope the deer would brake short and move around. Braking is just usually the better option. In his case he might have hit the deer with his front bumper or missing him completely.
