Yup! I hit them full force at about 30 mph..completely wrecked the car..killed two water buffalos and broke the legs on a third...I was completely unharmed..Luckily too...a man was riding one of the animals and he was unharmed..
Just another "lucky (idiot) GI in the PI "

Also, check this out:

Nissan Cube needs only a few bolt-ons to hit 1,000+ HP

o_O Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

What, no cubic love here??? :)

My dealer gave me a loaner Cube when I had my Z in to get the gas gauge sending units replaced. I winced when the service rep walked me out to the row of loaner cars and they were all Cubes, but I was actually somewhat surprised when I drove it. It handled like crap, but it has reasonable acceleration (at least mine did), plenty of room inside (would easily fit my gig rig), and (especially compared to the Z) had plenty of visiblity all around.

Would I every purchase one? Hell no. But I've seen worse (the Pontiac Aztec comes to mind)...

Mine is a 2011 and the transmission is already slipping. There's a horrible lag between stomping on the gas and when the "vehicle" begins to move forward. I constantly feel like I'm about to tip over, the giant glass windows make the car impossible to cool in the 100+ degree heat and the f'ing thing is painted "poop brown".

Look on the bright side, if you need some extra cash you could start delivering mail!

I was going to have Mike powder coat my calipers red and stencil on the nismo logo while the car was in the shop. Guy at the shop literally just said to me, "sorry we can't remove the calipers because it would render the car immobile".

Thought about it for a minute and called him back and said that's silly and he basically kept making excuses why he wouldn't do it (even after I offered to pay him for "labor" - just to avoid the inconvenience of adding more downtime).

Disappointed. I am absolutely not mechanically inclined but I'm pretty sure I can remove the calipers, bleed the brake lines and put them back on. Blah.

-One woman glanced at me nervously, rolled up her window and sped off.
-Another guy yelled "IT'S A SCION" (it was a scion)

They're all cubes to me.

Upvote for science! Hilarious paper sign, too.

And if they needed to move your car, they wouldn't be able to stop it.

Do you really think they are going to push it around why you get your calipers powdercoated. How does this not make sense man?

I dunno. Seems like it wouldn't be that hard to remove them while the car is getting painted anyway. As for stopping it, I would hope they're not pushing it down hills (WHEEEE) or running along behind it making racecar noises but who knows. Fair point.

Not a huge loss, just inconvenient. I'll do it myself when I get it back. Was just trying to avoid the extra 3-5 days of downtime.
