seriously though OP, the VVEL system adds a lot of heat to the oil system so the car got a factory gauge for not only the driver but also the car itself to keep track of oil temps and go into limp mode to protect itself if it has exceeded the factory limits (think it's 260*). oil temps were not really an issue on 350's unless they were tracked hard all day. doing a short stint of spirited driving, lets say on a nice mountain road, will cause oil temps on 370's to start climbing.

Heck just driving to work will make them climb without oil cooler here in Houston.

yea but all that money you spent on the car is going into the advanced structure, aluminum panels, hyper advanced DOHC engine, safety equipment and development...

oh wait, the focus has a lot those too^

Repped because you made me laugh! :roflpuke2: the only assumption that is safe to make with the general public, is that they are all retarded dumb a$$ who don't know there a$$ from their elbow!

In trade school a lot of the jokes well "shouldn't that code rule be common sense?" answer was always "if people had common sense you wouldn't rules and laws" and then you wouldn't see 90-99% of the crap that goes on! But as you all know theres dumb a$$ out there on a daily basis

to let you know that nissan was too cheap to put an oil cooler on the car and if you plan on having any spirited driving fun in the moderate climates, you'll have to get one.
