My brother and I parked in a store parking lot on Saturday. As usual I parked in the very back spot and we started walking in. As we're walking I feel a car coming up behind us and starting to slow. I look over and the car stops and the guy says "Sweet ride. That car is just sick!" I laughed and thanked him and said "you just gotta be prepared to do some walking in parking lots if you drive one of these!" :) Made my day. I do get comments all the time at drive-thru's, etc but there's only around 3 370z's in my town. In the McDonalds drive-thru this morning I had a Mustang in front of me and the whole time he was staring at my car in the side mirror. Not a hating stare but a stare of jealousy lol It's good to drive a Z...

:iagree:

My best compliment I have ever gotten while I was driving my car was "Hey I love your rear light, we should catch up sometime give me your number"

I was so shocked that someone noticed my rear fog light it was pretty awesome

Was he good looking at least??? Lol

A lot of people ask if my tow hook/handles are stock, and I say they're painted (plastidipped) and I get a lot of compliments that it looks good

I get a decent amount of "nice car"s and such
Had and older couple ask me if they could have my car because it looked so good. I offered to let them take it for a spin, but they declined, lol

Best was my neighbor saying "is this your new car, (yes) it's sexy, when are you taking me for a ride?"
I took her out once in a Bentley and she didn't give a damn about it, lol
Good ol Smurf Blue, and she thinks it's sexy, lol

The thing that makes me really happy is that pretty much every little boy stares at my car, and every once in a while I'll see a really small kid wave, thanks to movies like Cars and hot wheels and such, lol
That and it's blue... And loud... Lol!!!

I pass by a preschool once a week and I am going up a hill in 2nd usually at 30 and I can see every bit just dgaf'd about whatever they were doing, lol

Yeah, kids go crazy. In the Chic Fil a drivethru I was sitting there after placing my order. I look over and a family was walking to their car and a young boy was snapping pics of my car with his phone lol I guess it all depends on where you live but the 370z is pretty much like a lambo in my town. Everyone else is driving pickups or family cars.

I received a nice one today while going through the drive-in window at a Wendys picking up lunch. The woman at the window says as she is handing me my bag "you can have this for free if you give me your car". I said in return "It will cost you the whole franchise". She laughed and said "you can have it". She went on about how nice my car was. Just a little compliment that you never get tired of hearing.

My girlfriend said she saw some guy in a red R8 staring at my car as he drove by.

Even gets looks from people that own cars three times as expensive!

Had a gas station attendant tell me it was nice and asked how much ti cost once.

Another time at a supermarket, a woman asked if I wanted to trade cars. She had a Prius. I told her she got much better gas mileage and she said some days, she just doesn't care, haha.

Other than that, not much since there are tons of fancy cars here in socal. Int he neighborhood I live in now, bimmers and benzes ar elike accords and Porsches are like quite abundant.

Walked in to a Jimmy Johns to grab lunch parking right next to front door. While I am in line waiting for my sandwich, I can hear the two guys behind the counter debating on whether or not the car is a Nismo 370z (which it isn't). The one guy turns to the other and says "I bet the guy gets laid all the time"...at this point, I jumped in the conversation and said "I've been married for over 13 years, I don't get laid at all regardless what I drive". We all laughed and the one guy came out from the counter to take a closer look it. He was awestruck...

I've pulled up to two Nissan dealerships for service/recall and everyone was staring. Finally one of the service guys came up and said "Wow I've never seen a red one yet. When we're done with the service, just don't look at the odometer". I got a kick out of that one.
Aside from the stares and pointing I get, I've had a 350Z owner drive out of his way to the gas station I was at. Came out to look at my car and ask questions because he has never seen a 370Z Nismo before. After that, he jumped back in and drove off. Feels pretty good when people go out of their way to look at the car.

I find it awkward when people stare at me in traffic so thats why I got dark tints. Sometimes I feel like they think I am driving daddy's car because I am only 21. I am paying for it myself as a commercial pilot. When people tell me I am too young for it or it's daddy's car I just tell them "Well I can fly airplanes pretty well so this is nothing". Usually shuts them up pretty quickly.

lmao nice one.
I had my Z since I was 19, but working at a hospital, many patients and co-workers think I look like I'm 15-16 LOL.
I had someone at a grocery store parking lot ask me if I took dads car out on a joy ride when she saw me I step out of my Z. She rolls her window down and she is says, that can't be your car; do you even have your drivers license?
It was quite funny lol.

My latest compliments:

1. Took a friend out for a drive in the Z. She stated how well the car could handle. :D

2. I was driving around town, and this girl was keeping up just to see my Z. It was really obvious. She kept looking at me and smiling lol. I always find it funny when people do this.

3. I was leaving work with my co-worker. She has seen my car about twice before. I parked next to her, and when we got to our cars she said " damn, your car really is so sexyyyyy" :D Then I told her she could sit in it. She loved it and like other girls, found it "cute" being inside.

on a side note, why does every girl find the little cubby or ( not sure of spelling) where the nav should be, if you have that option, "cute".
