I get about 20 MPG, I do mostly highway. I don't like the low MPG...but like most here, I didn't buy the Z as a fuel saver...

21 Mpg city/highway for a car like this and it's performance? No complaints here.

Your first 5,000 miles you get shytty mileage. Then it improves greatly from 5-15k miles.

And summers are pretty bad for the VQ. Optimum gas mileage will be had between 50-82 degrees. Lower humidity days preferred as well.

I just watched a show on the history of the Cobra. There was a scene where the car came into the pits for a tire change. Before the new tire was installed, a pit crew member came over with a bucket of water and just poured it all over the brakes/wheel to cool it off.

Yep, we've come a long way in technology.

I test drove the 911 991 S and wanted to see how an eco run on the freeway would do me. I got about 30 mpg without going downhill. Its rated at 27mpg freeway.

one trip recently from fullerton, ca to san diego, ca netted me 34 mpg, but that was doing a very boring 55mph in the slow lane all the way there lol.

Did anyone notice that he says the Boxster pretty much spanks the Z in everything but on the Porsche website it shows a 0-60 time of 5.5. I think the Z is faster no?

Yup, sure did. But what I think OP meant by spanked was Boxster gets better gas mileage doing that slower 0 to 60!
