How do I feel about JDM stickers? Well our cars came from Japan so I dont feel JDM stickers are out of place on them but unless you are racing they can be too much, if they cover a large area.

One thing I have seen done with class is what they call "sticker bombing", Ive seen a few very expensive well put together cars with just a hint of "excitement" in the form of a sticker bombed gas cap or rear view mirror. One car had a much older driver and to me it says that although he is old and conforms to society, he also has a fun artistic side.

Stickers are fine. Dont let those holier than God Z owners tell you any different. If you like em use em. I see many mods on this forum that are much more "rice" than the funny/jdm stickers. I dont have any on mine but I like them. In the end its your car.

Immature. No stickers or advertising allowed on my car and that includes a dealer license plate frame. If you have to ask if they are cool, you'll get it in a few more years.

I know what you mean. I work in design and I can appreciate a well done sticker bomb. Not my thing for my car, but there's something really cool about it if it's done right. Kind of like a really well done graff art piece.

Whoa there kimisabe. The OP asked for opinions. No one is being "holier than God" (did you mean "holier than thou"?).

It's his car and he can glue fur on it if he wants; I don't really care. If you ask my opinion on it, expect me to give an honest opinion.

I'm sure there are many people that don't like what I did with my car, and that's okay too. We all have different taste, some is just broader than other.

Those are cool!

I think funny/personal stickers are fine to add a touch of personalization, but decals of manufacturers are not unless you're actually sponsored by them.

For example, I work in IT and here's mine. Not many people know what it is unless they're nerds lol.

I would really like to find a sticker that implies something along the lines of "my brakes are better than yours" for the people that ride my *** in the slow lanes.

JARblue 06-21-2012 09:27 AM

I like the LINUX touch

Two of my favorite bumper stickers come from George Carlin:

"I am the proud parent of a child whose self-esteem is sufficient that he doesn't need me promoting his minor scholastic achievements on the back on my car"

and

"I am the proud parent of a child who has resisted his teacher's attempts to break his spirit and bend him to the will of his corporate masters"

:icon18: LOL!!!!!!!!!!

And thanks, you're literally the third person to recognize Tux.

NS370Z 06-21-2012 10:00 AM

Not a fan of extra stickers. The more conservative and clean looking the better IMHO but to each their own. Some cars I think can tolerate a few like a 60's muscle car with a small Holly or Thrush sticker in the back window or something like that.

TypeOne 06-21-2012 10:03 AM

If I have to see a "no fat chicks" sticker on another car I'm going to scream. I run stickers on my car of the people that support me, which is business.

Sticker bombing is ok, as long as it is done in moderation I think.

I've got stickers on the front and rear windows of my car.

I sticker bomb for ZDayZ because its fun. Everyone loves a 5.0 with Z decals all over it.

For the rest of the year, however, I only have a club decal and a yellow DTOM sticker because I distrust the establishment! :p

Love it! I would put those on my family mobile.

I was surprised by this comment, a little less so after seeing your location :icon17:

Maybe people just don't bring it up...Linux is no longer reserved for ubernerds, and is in pretty widespread use

UNKNOWN_370 06-21-2012 02:46 PM

These are ridiculous. Especially the I love haters one. Its always on the shittiest rides. Lmfao.
There's one in my neighborhood on the crappiest, beat up 91 civic and I bump into another one that's a 07 altima with crappy looking 20's.
How do you even hate on cars like that? They should have a sticker that says I love my POS. It would be the only valid sticker they can use.

Change subject real quick. For the first time, I saw an 09 Z with 50k miles priced at 23k. There goes the Z neighborhood. Priced low enough for the high school kids to bring the dealer down to 21k. :(

Maddog483 06-21-2012 04:07 PM

Yep cheesy......

Pretty plain, but here ya go! Personally, I like the self-esteem one best.

George Carlin Proud Parents Bumper Sticker

onzedge 06-21-2012 07:40 PM

The only sticker on my 370 is the one that says "If you don't like the way I drive, stay off the sidewalk". I have to stay classy.

HArturo319 06-21-2012 07:47 PM

I like the one that states my last oil change date and milage.

bigsix 06-21-2012 07:56 PM

I prefer more subtlety w/ my stickers... guess it's just preference, man.

sonic370 06-21-2012 07:59 PM

stickers we don't need no stinking stickers.................

Seems like they're more popular with the Honda guys.

m4a1mustang 06-23-2012 09:36 PM

Sick S2k. first thing I'd do is remove the stickers. :)

m4a1mustang 06-23-2012 09:38 PM

There's a reason I never go to Honda-specific meets. :icon17:

KERMIT 06-24-2012 02:01 PM

Stickers reduce your cars appeal to that of a Honda civic in the eyes of the general public. In my eyes, it just makes me believe that the owner is lacking intelligence and maturity. First impressions count.

Shamu 06-24-2012 02:20 PM

My opinion with stickers is either go all the way or none at all. You know sort of like Yashio Factory cars. Those guys crack me up!

I love the look of sticker bomb I just don't know if I love it on my z?!

I would have to see some pics out there. Or hey maybe. I'll try it on spare parts

USINC97 07-17-2012 04:00 AM

No decals. I even had the dealership remove their stickers when we picked up our Z and Cube. (Brown)

One_Quick_Z 07-17-2012 04:40 AM

You see this type of crap on JDMChicago a local forum I am on a lot. But like you guys say, they think its sweet and dope so more people do it. I really cant stand that type of stuff and more times than not it is on a really crappy car or slow/cheap one.
