anyone installed a stillen gen3 long tube cold air intake?

how was the gains?
was it hard to install?

I have the Injens, but the Stillens have the best gains.

Check the DIY section for installation details. I doubt it's too difficult.

i have the Stillen Gen 3 intake. generally easy to install, you just got to remember to wrap a few things before installing and your good to go. i had my Shop install them since im not very good at it and the Overall Gains..... stillen claims 17.5 hp gains. real noticeable throaty growl and from the expressions of ppls faces when they get in the car " really puts you back in the back of your seat!"

but again its all up to you and what you want to do

Please use Search. This is the most common CAI for the 370Z. Lots and lots of info on this site.

Can you really feel a difference? And doesnt this put added strain on the transmission which might cause problems and void the warrenty?

No, no one has ever had transmission issues on either the 7AT or 6MT from bolt ons that I'm aware of. The only time there are power related issues with transmissions on the Z34 is when forced induction such as superchargers and turbos are used, and even then it's only been an issue on the 7AT.

You'll be perfectly fine.

If you can change a flat you can take off your bumper. I felt the price for the intakes are of cheap quality but the gains are there.
