Timing is everything in LA, I normally don't have any huge problems rolling around the 10/110/101/405/5 if it's not during peak hours. I feel for you though, it took me 6 hours to get home from Malibu to Newport Beach one Friday because of rain and Socal drivers crashing like it's their job.
