Too bad this year the tournament is overlap with Olympic, many top seeds had pulled out, and the rain is making things worse... :shakes head: :shakes head:

Good Saturday Ms.BC20... :hello: :hello:

Hey Mr.GaleForce, I put Mr.Fire and your name on the Sep 3rd cruise

took the nizy out for a drive today. drove 65 miles worth of chicanes, hairpins, apex's and what not from livermore to san jose (mines road) and the car held up like a CHAMP!

this was the first time ive ever really driven it like it was meant to and it did not disappoint. with the 25 row oil cooler my temps stayed in the 200 degree mark the entire 65 miles. ambient temperature in the valley was 100+ degrees! however, once i stopped...temp's soared to 220-230 degrees quickly (pitstopped at lick observatory). brakes held up quite nicely as well (newly added SS lines and RBF600), but im thinking of changing the power steering fluid now. anyone flush theirs?

good to see you driving her like she is meant to be! I am jealous as I have no where here to really drive my NISMO like that..
as for your oil temps that's odd that once you stopped your temps went up.. I am boosted and I generate alot of heat, and I don't see 220 unless I am really on it for a long time...
don't forget that you need ATF fluid for your PS fluid

heh i was in 2nd and 3rd most of that 65 miles. im thinking it spiked up because of the heatsoak not moving. i am honestly impressed now with this car. i left the STi's in the dust :P

as for the power steering fluid. thanks, i need to do some more research on that. but it felt like the steering was getting more and more loose as i drove, the tires were fine and actually not too hot to the touch!

when I drove from Tampa back to ND, there were a few occasions I hit 220.. but i was really on her.. and I have a huge single turbo. but I'd let her idle for a few minutes to cool down, and I never went up in temp... but then again I have a 34 row :P

I actually JUST changed my PS fluid... I was leaking some from the cooler because it was getting rather toasty.. so i replaced it with some better ATF fluid
